you asked how led lights are doing... well i seen grows with over a gram pr watt(irish boys grow springs to mind) which would be my personel goal(never achived anywhere near it....) so i would say led are there BUT....
good led panels are expensive 800$ + so for me i just cant afford getting another one(had one from growlight pro aka ledstores.net it never worked for growing and wont even turn on 5 months after purchase and seller dont wont to know)
I personly would go with spectra 749$ for 300 w?? not sure but the new one with the x lenses looks great......
ONE SHORT ANSWER LED ARE HERE TO STAY,AND SOON WE WILL BE ABLE TO AFFORD THEM.
going back to my hps now:thumbsup:

    Hey,
I am in the middle of an LED grow right now.
If you would like to see the progression you can find the grow on here under LED grow testing the Pro-Grow 260.

Or you can visit my blog spot here: LED Logger

Personally I am having a good experience so far. I changed the light cycle to 12/12 about 9 days ago and I am now beginning to see the sexes.
I hope my page can help you decided on LED or not. It's a purely experimental grow and I hope I get results as I invested around €1,000 to get started.
I am pretty new but I did lots of research before I began this grow.

Its getting exciting now so keep an eye

    take care

    LED grow op

Hey, almost on the harvest by now. I had a big issue with the cramped conditions in my grow tent. I had 9 plants in a very big tent. 2 were males so I killed them. I had to buy a smaller tent as I live in a flat. I had 7 females crammed into the tent. 2 of the plants took over just about everything so 5 plants suffered. I killed 5 of the 7 plants today and kept about an ounce of bud and made a few grams of hash with my bubble bags. It was my own fault and not the LED light. The buds on the 2 plants which are still in the bloom room are looking great. I will be keeping all my plants short in the future. The plants just exploded in height. Live and learn. The LED light did its job because I can see lovely buds on the last 2 plants. Think Ill smoke some of that nice hash in a bit.
