Its not really the level living standards that are an issue in these protests, other than the obvious advantage the 1% have in all this. It seems to be more what happens to civil rights and peoples dignity when certain segments of society are allowed to have such enormous wealth and then use that wealth to set public policy by owning our elected leaders. The issues are extemely varied when you read all the different protest signs. And some of it is just the pent of frustration of voters being ignored.
In fact the time is ripe for a revolution in this country. So many things coming to a head during this decade. And no one wants to be known as the lost generation.
Me follow and talk with humans during the idea and planning of OWS,I corresponded with Topiary, Sabu,tRiCk, and people who ideas this started, you can log onto pastebin and find where started. I agree there is right time for revolution, but is not going to happen in states. You people live way to good,even poor are better than middle where I lay my head. It good to see people of all thoughts in streets in America, be it tea people or what was OWS. If you seek revolution good luck. It not very fun. Trust in faith.
