In fact the time is ripe for a revolution in this country. So many things coming to a head during this decade. And no one wants to be known as the lost generation.
Me follow and talk with humans during the idea and planning of OWS,I corresponded with Topiary, Sabu,tRiCk, and people who ideas this started, you can log onto pastebin and find where started. I agree there is right time for revolution, but is not going to happen in states. You people live way to good, even poor are better than middle where I lay my head. It good to see people of all thoughts in streets in America, be it tea people or what was OWS. If you seek revolution good luck. It not very fun. Trust in faith.

hello. another odd twist from the drone thread. i am reading from communist sympathizers, agitating for revolution, and wondering why Americans would not migrate- and the thread comes full circle. yes we have to defend our personal liberties. yes the 1% will take more than their share. yes North Dakota sheriffs used drones to track stolen cattle. yes the political swamp spends too much. we Americans stay in America, and always will fight for America, because we live in the greatest country on the planet: and like our ancestors- we will fight for America to our dying breath. what we live for, in the confines of our little closed environments, is what everyone on the planet should live; and we all know that. every other distraught individual, has tried every means to harm America: because they can not have what we have here. it would serve greater purpose to turn the violence back on your troubled nation, than to misdirect it here. we will always be free. vote Ron Paul.

abosultely Bullshit^ Imo. That is the Old America way of thinking...say about 60+ years ago. We are NOT a Proud and glorious country of "people who will fight to the death, yadda yadda," This country isnt even a self reliant country. How are you going to have a 1776 style anything when you have a culture of unselfreliant MASSES of people(how much more people are around now then back then) who dont LIVE that "dont tread on me lifestyle" who play xbox, and listen to hiphop, and couldnt wipe their ass with leaves if their life depened on it(imagine how much food it takes to feed a person a year lol and just do the simple logistics). Their isnt even the technology around for Everyone to go back to the farm over night, hell not even with in years..There just isnt enouf resourse to Fight off anything...We are butter stretched over faaar to much bread. With a modern culture of materialistic, fad driven punk sissies...where are you going to get any motivation out of these people LOL. Great Combat veterans Ive spoke to time and time again online Who even admit its DONE say fuck it. If you get a guy like ron paul in and he turns it around(wont happen, JFK tried this same stint and look what happened to him) Well we would have to promote a lot more self reliants..and the youth of today=our future tommorow and they dont give a damn about any of it.

The revolution certainly isn't going to be pain free. I imagine even that quite a few people will die in the process. But freedom was never guaranteed to be free. Even Thomas Jefferson felt that revolution was good for this country every generation and we're running a little late on that.
As long as we still adhere to the original constitution and bill of rights we will be fine. All thats really needed is that our elected leaders start taking responsibility for what they have done to this country. And it crosses political lines. The OWS movement has been very disappointed in Obama's presidency and rightfully so.
I think all of us wish for the transition to be as peaceful as possible but thats just not very realistic. All we have to do is look at our own history to see that nothing meaningful has been accomplished with purely peaceful protests.

hello again. it may well be "Old America". old America is still around, and it will beat down your ass, and rally the thumb society behind it. those "Weathermen" pussies from the past were wrong about how they fought for change, and anybody today wanting to be like them- is wrong again. stop growing negative vibes. old America has better things to do.

That is it. OWS originally started as an independent collective devoid of ideologues. Once marching orders given through tweets and the people started march, Obama and his Union people saw opportunity to get some headway after halftime election defeat. When Govt. mow down protest people of any idea group with machine gun, then finish off dying with pistol on camera in major US city, then maybe revolution. Amerika still have it better than anyone, funny to world ur people don't see it. We die to get become American

The Kent State moment is bound to happen and probably next summer. When it happens things will start to happen fairly quickly. No way to really know how far things will go once the violence kicks off. Hopefully good people will calm things down and start demanding criminal charges for the people who have started the collapse. Doubtfull though. I think Amerikans have pretty much lost all respect for any kind of leadership by politicians. You just can't believe a single thing they say any more.

The old America might be around in the hearts and minds of some people still but you missed the point....The only reason a revolution was possible back then was cause Everybody was farmers and Self reliant...They always had something to fall back on for food..and the people LIVED and knew all those skill sets it took to survive. Your talking 200 years later where you have MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of people living in cities who cannot support themselves or heat their homes if this country slips into Civil War/political unrest/civil unrest. Do you realize how fragile this country really is these days? If the Trucks stop running for ONE DAY in this country the whole countrys infrastructure caves in. Once it gets past a certain point of no return like that..its OVER. Your talking about Millions upon millions of people In urban areas leaving the cities looking for food, wide spread cannabalism, murder, rape ect ect...It would be so overwhelming out side of the cities on your farm or cabin you would be over run. It will be different in different areas...depends on the situation and resources. Situations will evolve/devolve fast/slow...for the most part it will be everyman forthemselves...after a given time small town society will start to form up again...This is of course a faster type collapse senario...If we had years and years of a slow ease into another great depression..It might give a majority of the population more of a buffer to reaquire the tools and supplies they would need to hold things together while the remainder of the populace can be helped and taken care of. My opinions on the subject anyway.

I think there was a federal study that predicted the deer herd to go extinct upon a fast collapse senario..I think it was like 6 months or some where around that..wouldnt surprize me. In my opinion a forcefull revolution isnt going to work, and rarely through out history do they work..It took our founding forefathers decades to agree on things afterwards..What we need to do is start with the individual and premote Self reliant lifestyles and Get the youth away from the TV and veneer BS and teach them skill sets instead of trying to fix this country from the top down.
