Are they all closed up?
I was wondering if all the clubs are closed now in NorCal? I cant seem to find any info on it. The one club I use 2 times a year seems to have closed. Just wondering if they are.

Are they all closed up?
All are closed in Butte County as far as I can find. I think the nearest to me is in Sacramento. The news out of Redding is that they are trying to close all theirs down also.
On a slightly different but related note; Is Budtradder shutting down as well? It seems that I haven't seen any new activity for at least a week on their site.
- I guess its back to the bad old days-

Are they all closed up?
The gov is cracking down on store front dispensaries to pave the way for GW Pharmaceuticals THC filled Sativex.... What better way for a large corporation to get rid of the competition....pay the government and shut them down.... I find it freaking disturbing that a corporation has the power to push our gov to do such a thing....but I'm not surprised at all....
The most important thing that we as med cannabis patients can do is educate others about the dangers of allowing Sativex to be prescribed.... The most important fact that needs to be pointed out is that because GW Pharma has the government in their back pocket, their THC is scheduled as a schedule 3 while the same THC filled plant material (buds) are still schedule 1.... Now that is confusing as shit to me....how in the world can anyone justify two different schedulings for the same psychoactive ingredient??? It's all a setup to give Big Pharma control of THC.... All the more reason for cannabis to be legalized....
Just my :twocents: on this....

All are scheduled to close in Redding per city council vote by December 1, 2011.
As far as I have heard all will close in the unincorporated area of Lake County in December.

Are they all closed up?
Yah, it's getting stupid and dangerous out there. Budtrader is working, just checked it this morning. I found that my webbrowser wouldn't show any activity about 3 weeks ago. Lasted for around a week until I cleared my browsing history and cleaned out the cookies and history. Not sure what the actual cause was but its caused by some kind of conflict somewhere in the computer.
The bad old days sucked, at least I can grow my own now where I used to be dependant upon 'friends of friends' and was constantly putting up with so-so weed and chemically polluted crap.
I hear even the clubs in Sacramento are being shut down, or being threatened as well.
Times is strange.

Are they all closed up?
I guess I'm going to have to drive to Sac for my clones. Last time I did that I ended up with Spider mites and some kind of fungas. I know I should have isolated and dipped them, but I guess I got lazy and suffered the price.
Anybody deal with a QUALITY dispensiary in SAC that they could recomend?

Nor Cal collectives are definitely not shut down. In Lake Co they shut some down and it is the same in a lot of places. The assault by the feds continues. I wish Obama would step up but I don't believe any Republican will be any better. They certainly won't call off the feds. Maybe after the elections will see some spine but nothing is likely to happen in the mean time. I think Weed Wars pisses off the feds but I believe it is changing some peoples perceptions in the right direction. Showing people who really need and recieve great benefit from the medicine is awesome. Having a guy named Wedding Dress doesen't help the cause but I believe the reaction overall is positive. I could not find a thread on this subject which surprises me.
