I read a lot about used coffee grounds and using them to make fertilizer for your plants and I was curious about one thing.. I don't drink coffee at all but I have a big container of coffee grounds for some reason. I was wondering if the coffee grounds need to be used/boiled before they're good for compost/fertilizer, or if I can just simply use them straight from the can?

I've been searching online and can't find anything about that so if anyone knows the answer to my question let me know!

Thanks and happy harvesting
