i would go with to much N, also dont use compost alone it needs to be an additive to perk up soil...NOT BE THE SOIL. its too rich and causes problems. i personally dont like anything with time release or that feeds for prolonged periods, you lose control that way unless you know how to deal with that. your one branch could be just the start of a sad face.
