Am not up North, however, can share a bit of what has happened around here! From people I have personal experience with. First, I would like to point out, it is very unlikely they will go door to door like the dog catcher does here. The people I know that had problems were disturbing the peace or something else and cops came to the door, then discovered pot. On one occasion, the police took the pot and the man of the house. After getting confirmation of his mmj req. they released him and his plants!

About your children. This is the slippery slope and certainly what you are most concerned about, I would be! If you are the only adult in the home; should you be taken to the P.D., they will not leave them home alone. You do not have to let police in your home without proper paperwork. Provided you take all advice already given.

If you are not the only adult in the home, does the other partake? It is mostly possible that your children will be left into that persons care. I do not know the age of your children, but I have a friend and she says, "Be careful what you say to the kids, they always talk!" And that would be of more concern, to me! I think I read 'Stinky Attic' said that in a thread, a long time ago, also.

I would also be concerned, if you are growing more than allowed by a req. If you are, you need to buddy up with some patients and have their req's copied and in your home. In the area I was living in last year a man was taken in for too many plants. Did not have patient reqs. until after released. He then provided the proper amt. of reqs for plants growing and charges were dropped. During this time, he lost all his equipment and plants.

Good luck to you and always make your children your first priority. What you decide, is a personal decision! Since we are not allowed to grow within a certain distance of schools, etc. It would not be prudent to have your children around it. However, I know people that have grown and told their children all during childhood and did just fine. And that was before we had legal mmj! Just do not draw attention and make sure your children do the same. Meaning, they don't have an authority figure at your home, because they have been in a lot of trouble. Good Luck, a tough decision pal! pr
painretreat Reviewed by painretreat on . Question about potential trouble with kids. I have been a grower for about a year and recently had to break down due to an appraiser coming through. I have been down for about 3 weeks now and will be taking a break for another 3 weeks. With the recent news of Obama cracking down in Cali, I have been flip flopping on whether to continue. I currently reside up north in the mountains of Cal, and for a long time our profession has been accepted as the norm, but I fear the recent changes are gonna spark our local enforcement agency to start Rating: 5
