What kind of soil do I use?

I can get it from walmart or lowes or home depot. Tell me what kind and what nutrients you use. I saw a lot of different kinds today and didn't want to get the wrong thing. A buy list is what I need. help please.

Your gonna get alot of answers to this question. I personally use Miracle Grow Potting soil. It has some time release ferts in it. It's cheap even for the large bag. I feel like you took the right path as to making a list of your needs before you start!

Yeah I bought everything but the soil and the mylar and a good cabinet. I got some ww seeds and some other kind they threw in feminized. I spent like 70 bucks just for the seeds. I got 4 55w cfl's 2700k 3800 lumens a peice. I bought all they had at my walmart I gotta go to another one tomorrow to get four more and 8 cool 6500k ones. I'm buying a armoire or something to stealth it out. I'm using mylar for reflectors and making my hoods for my cfl's. I'm buying a scrubber or I might make my own idk yet that part can wait until they start smelling. I bought the timers I have 3. I have a pc fan and a little fan and some ducts already. The soil is the only thing that's confusing me. I would NEVER try hydro since soil is this confusing to me lol

I just bought some miracle moisture control and mixed in some pearlite. I was trying to find this little nursery that sells fox farms but I got pissed and couldn't find it. I'll just buy some online.

Bye the way most wal-marts sell active carbon in the pet area, Look around the fish tank supplies. Thats where i get it for my scrubber filters.Less then 6 bucks for a ten ouce container. I use one container per filter.Also scott premium is a good soil used that for years for auto's/photoperios plant with good result. I do suggest adding some perlite . If you live where there is a southern states co-op. They sell southern states potting mix. it comes with extra perlite and is nice and fluffy. No wood chips and seems to good for cannabis.I have started seedling in it, and repotted in it till harvest. great soil.Also very economical at aroud 6 bucks for a smaller back and 12 for bigger.I believe it is the best soil to use at that price. i tried it and was amazed. Also stable ph.

Get yourself some seedling mix and peat pots to start the beans. Also, get a good dust mask if you plan to work with active carbon. Breath that shit in and it will ruin you. Seriously.

Next time I will start in peat mix miracle grow moisture control is a big bag of ass mixed with garbage. The plants were all yellow and burned as soon as `they hit the fox farms they turned dark green and grew fast. fox farms ocean forest is some good shit!

Thanks for the info about the scrubber, it's about time for me to make one of those.
