    very droopy leafs what can this be???

    My plant has just started its 5th week now and it was looking all good a few hours ago now i have checked on it its gone really droopy and it has'nt done this before, i gave it more water than it normally has this morning due to it not having any water for a good 5 days, im using MG soil with perlite and the pH is around 6.3 and im useing a blue spectrum CFL 65w and a full spectrum 15w grow bulb and its been fine but now im really worryed about it because of this, does anyone have any idears ?? It has only gone like this within 2 hours of the lights off..

    also the 2 bottom leafs look and feel a bit crispy and old and they have strange black/brownish marks on them which have got worse shall i cut them off? [attachment=o279751][attachment=o279752]

    If they went droopy a bit after the lights going off, then I'd say it's just the plant storing energy.... No need for the leaves to be reaching for light when it isn't there....just my opinion though....

    As for the bottom crispy leaves, cut 'em off, let 'em fall, it's up to you.... It's nothing to be worried about....as long as the whole plant doesn't follow....and probably won't....

    yeah here you go, its perked up again now i was just worryed as it doesnt normally do that, but yeh iv chopped a few fanned leafs of the otha week and topped it, i also had to chop abit of a fanned leaf off due to it getting burnt by the light so i changed to CFL's....[attachment=o279753]

    Nope, that was a mini nute overdose from the timed release crap in MG, bet it does it every time you water for awhile

    yeah i really do regret using MG now, but its my first and just for experience, next time im going to use organic, probs coco or summin

    MG soil ain't bad! You just have to learn how to use it. Plain ole ph'd water till 1/4 through veg cycle. That way your sure not to have any issues. I use it all the time.

    Yea the plants will do that when the lights go off. U will actually notice it happening right before they go off. As for the bottom leaves, they probably dipped in the water and nute laden soil when u watered and that's why they fried. Happens all the time. No big deal.

    Agreed, I never did figure out the learning curve for it, no consistency in my market at all.
