LED Grow update no.19, January 21st, 2012

Hey all.

So here is the 19th update on the grow. Everything is going to plan all the way to this point. I am happy to say that I haven’t had any major issues with the plants so far.

The experimental feed that I am using is giving the plants what they need if not more. The only deficiency in the grow was a magnesium issue. That was resolved very quickly with some Epsom salts. Someone told me that the nitrogen seems to be a little high in some plants as the leaves are too green but now that I am only feeding with water this issue will fix itself. I gave 2 plants a little more Epsom salts today, a small spoon between them in the water. So far the Pro-Grow has lived up to what Hydroponics Hut promised. They really have built a great LED light. I can already see a return on the investment I made in the light. At this stage I can recommend this light without hesitation to anyone who wishes to try this technology. I have saved a fortune on electricity as the Pro-Grow only uses 190 watts. The four 20w CFLs are another factor of course but the entire tent is running on less than 300w (including extractor, timers, and fan).

Harvest can't be too far away now

silent leprechaun Reviewed by silent leprechaun on . LED grow testing the Pro-Grow 260. Hey guys. Just to let ye all know, this isn't spam. I took the plunge with and LED light. Its my third grow in my entire life but I wanted to see if LED could do it. I did an indoor and an outdoor when I lived away foreign. The ourdoor turned out great, the indoor was under a 600w high-pressure sodium and turned out crap. I am running 4 x 20w CFLs too just for heating purposes. Those LED sure run cool. I made a blog of my grow last night. I was keeping track of the grow with photos and I Rating: 5
