What's happening/wrong with my plant?

It sprouted on the 20th, so 7 days ago now (1 week) & it's been growing very slowly, I'd expect her to be bigger by now... in the past two-three days the stems turned really dark purple. It's currently a little bit over an inch tall.

I just bought the DR60 tent, 125 watt CFL with pro-wing reflector... I'm not running the light now because I don't have any method of lowering it, plus I don't have the fans yet so it get's way too hot with it on as of now, so I'm using standard CFLs... but I just transferred to the tent yesterday.

The temp ranges from 78-84... 40-50% humidity 18/6 timer
I mist the plant occasionally, i think I may stop now after reading lots of stuff on it burning the leaves, etc...
It's in miracle gro organic soil right now... going to transplant to FFOF soon.

i think it's the 3rd set of leaves it would be called, just came in today... They all seem to droop down a little too... but I don't think it's over-watering.

I went out and bought distilled water today & watered her for the first time with it earlier, in hopes of that helping... my self diagnosis would be if a correct PH doesn't fix it by allowing access to nutes, then it's a phosphorus deficiency... but I don't know how to cure that...

Before I was using my tap water, but am stopping that today.

I'm looking for some other opinions on it so I don't act with the wrong treatment...

Stop the water....let it dry out. Your looking great for 7 days. Your cfl shouldn't put out that much heat, hang it for 18/6 and watch . When she feels lite, water next day lol be patient!

I seriously don't think it's healthy... something must be wrong if the stem is that dark of a purple?

Here's my current concern : after using the distilled water, my friend came over & i had to shut off the fan so it wouldnt be obvious, I watched the temps from my remote thermometer, didn't reach over 85.7 ambient temp, who knows what it was on the canopy, but it certainly wasn't too the point where it burned my hand, just pretty warm... after turning the fan back on, checking 2 hours later after she left, the leaves all of a sudden are pointing up-ward, and SLIGHTLY curling up on the edges (only the top two leaves)
she also seemed a little yellow to me before, but she seems a tad more yellow now... but I could be crazy... I'm concerned the light is too close & that's why it's curling up... but the leaves pointing up would mean stretching, so if I raise up lights, then if it is stretching, it stretches more... the light was 2.5 inches away, now it is 2...

anyone's two cents would be greatly appreciated, I wanna get this thing under control so I can sleep easy

Bring tbat light up to 12" . lil starters you got need to grow, mg starter soil and potting mix is high in nitrogen and seedlings will burn if you don't flush the soil. Let 'em dry then water when they feel lite when ya pick them up ya water the next day, be patient, its worth the wait

I have 2 23 watt cfls in reflectors pointing at it, one top & one side then a 23 watt 2700 cfl with no reflector back in the corner to give it a little red light...(i'm not running the 125 watt till I get yo-yo hangers & an exhaust............. i moved the main lights away to 6 inches... i've heard from multiple sources that CFL's are not effective from over 8 inches or something?

but yeah, I've been letting them dry out to where it feels dry to around 3 inches down... which is usually like 2-3 days

anyways, scratch that - bumped the lights to 8 inches away, both reflected ones.

thats water logged, i use MG all purpose compost and and i mix mine with alot of perlite for better drainage, that also looks like its not getting good light, the leafs should be alot darker.. heres mine its 4 weeks old, i have chopped sum fan leafs of and a part of a leaf at the top due to it getting burnt by my old light, so im using a blue spec CFL (2 of them at 65w) and i have a fan on them... It really looks fine to me for the most part. When they r that young the stem will be purple. Too early for a defficiancy I think. The leaves pointing up like that is usually considered a good thing. Just means the plant is happy
