upsidedown, is it bad?
So I just started this dwc experament and something strange is happening. Well I'm almost positive that the dwc.part has nothing to do with it because all three seedlings are.doing this, just the dwc one is more servere. Two of the main fan leaves or the " big leaves" are turning upside down. All the leaves leaves on the plants have nothing wrong. Only the main fan leaves. I have all the correct amount of everything( nutes, ect.) In The dwc, but like I said, I have two other ones I. dirt and they are doing it too. My soil is sunshine mix four. My nutes are advance nutrient sensi grow a.and b. And B52, and great white. A lot I know but my soil is bare of any kind of micro nutrients so... And the dwc is the same nutes b/c its a versitile line, hydro/soil. My light is just florescent for.now as they're all in veg. It's about a foot above the plants. I also have a small co2 bucket running on low. There on A 24 hr light schedule. Hope this is some sufficient info ladies n gents, now try nd help me out here plz. Am I doing something that's unhealthy that's making the leaves turn or something? Can't seem to figure out how to attatch pics ( sry I know) but theres some online if you find the time. The site name and my screen name is in my signature at the bottom of this post.

PGS420, I would suggest you go into the last area of forum and post under Computer! Ask one of the computer experts how to post a picture from your cell phone! Since, you do not have a computer. And once you figure out how to do it, don't drop the damn thing and lose it all. I'd die if you left us hanging for the results of your grow! A lot of the fellows here are excellent with the computers (guess they have a genetic propensity for 'gadgets' - I do not, sorry) Good luck to you! Hope you get the info you need. I know there is a lot here, but they really need pictures and will ask. Catcha l8r. pr

The leaves that are turned are the bottom ones not the top big ones.

Interesting, first impression is lack of moisture, but I don't grow in anything but FFOF, so I am no help....I suggest you use the troubleshooting form, I would think for the hydro setups.

Took me forever to figure out how to.attatch files to a post. ( not the most computer savy) lol. Click on " go advanced" next to post quick.reply. and them scroll don't to"manage attachments" you should be able to upload the files right to your post. And sometimes my brain doesn't absorb info all the way, so do you think you could possibly explain that last bit a little more clearly. Because as of right now, I have no idea what your talking about in your last reply, but I'm dying to know what the issue is here.

I been doing hydro and the roots do grow down thru the basket but when the plant starts to flower, it seems to spread roots along the top layer of hydrotons. Light hurts these roots so I cover mine with a plastic place mat I cut down to fit the opening . Helps keep the top hydrotons moist also

Oh, gotchya. Thanks for the tip. Should I use foliar spray? (Washougalwonder) Like no nutes in the spray, just water. Will that help with the.moisture, or lack there of? I'm getting mixed messages from my buddies about foliar spray, some say spray, some say never spray. What's the best option for hydro, do u spray??
