That looks like mature PM. in flower.
And when it blooms like that, it's already systemic.

You might be able to save some of it if you jar it in small amounts and cure at a low RH.
<60% that will keep it from blooming in the jar.
As for how deep it has grown into the buds, the proof is in the puffing.
PM has a funky taste.
Some folks smoke it anyway.
It does not produce mycotoxins like Stachybotrus and it's ilk, but it can set off allergies

And while my research says it's not harmful to an un-compromised immune systems,
I still do not like that taste so why risk it?.

Here's where the news gets worse.
I once suggested that it be made into bubble hash.
Sounded like a good idea, so when I got PM, on one of my "keepers" I tried it myself.

There's still a trace of that smell in the hash, Dang!

It's faint, but it's there!

So dunno what to tell ya.

The first batch looked fine but had a tinge of a funky smell to it... so trimmed it up even nicer and jarred it. The 2nd, however has the same smell, almost like a mildew but not quite, like maybe just a little too fresh but could be something else...
