More experienced growers look at the thc with a magnifying glass to see if it's ready.They look at color(clear,foggy or amber) and the look of the resin gland(small mushroom like resin formation) it self. And then depending on growers preference they decide if it's time to harvest or not.
CH, you have any pictures of examples of this resin gland? My first batch is getting close to 8 weeks into flowering. I've been trying to look at the trichs, but would like to hear some more about this resin gland as well. This patience thing is killing me Thanks!
