butane inhallation

The amount that is burned while not inhaling is minimal compared to the amount that is taken in.... I've found bigger fatter hits burn more of the bowl while not inhaling whereas taking short steady hits keeps the bowl lit and doesn't burn up too much while not inhaling.... Now go try this packing method :jointsmile:....cause I'm about to....enjoy :thumbsup:....

Nice, sometimes my stuff stays lit, I never really thaught.about my packing.method tho. It makes sense. Does the.cherry burn up excess bud when its still lit and ur not inhaling it? You know when you get that little swirling stream of smoke that rises out of the bowl when you set it down. Iv always wondered about that too, is it wasting my good ganj?

I just cover it up with my lighter and it chokes it out or slows the burning process in between hits.

To avoid wasting smoke,prisoner's smoke that way: one smokes and the other smokes what is escaping at the other end.they take turns doing that so no smoke is wasted.

I saw these dudes on youtube smoking with like a wick. They lit it and it stayed lit and they lit their bowls with it. The worst thing you can use is a zippo lighter, I did it when I didn't have a regular butane bic and it tastes like pure zippo shit. You can buy a whole pack of like 20 crack lighters for 1 dollar at like dollar stores.

Ya, they were giving away wicks to smoke with at.the cannabis cup in Detroit. It's pretty cool.
I just had a yellow crack lighter over spark and take off a couple eyelashes and nose hairs...lol

If you use the little torch type lighters they are supposed to use almost all of the butane before the end of the flame, they have harder to see flames and somtimes come with glowwires. You shouldn't be able to taste anything you don't want, right?

Couldn't live without my hemp wick, and glass wands... lighter hits are a thing of the past!

hemp wick....no butane.....blowtorch and glass for concentrates.....otherswise its bic and butane...torches are ok but i think they burn the medicine too fast
