Personally, pharmacists do not have in depth knowledge into the effects of different strains, some of which are much more effective in treating pain, others better for nausea, etc.
Even though good growers have been treated like criminals, cannabis really does require expertise to produce at the medicinal level. Budtenders in our shop answer a lot of important questions that patients have, and that is something you wouldn't find in a pharmacy.
