4 Seedlings, which look really wierd, 2 different strains???

    Hey guys,

So I germinated 4 seeds and got 4 sprouted. They are 2 x Ortega Indica feminized and 2 x Alquimista Feminized. (These are normal strains not autoflowering ones as i'm currently growing fine).

So these seedlings have 2 and 4 leaves, they look really weird they only way I can describe them is cauliflower looking.. they look out of shape and deformed, but in a really odd way, I've taken pictures which you can see below.. but they don't do it justice.. I am not sure whats wrong with them, I can't put it down to the strains as they are two different types - so what is causing them to look like this?

I am wondering if they'll grow out of it, and the newer leaves will look normal, there is one in there that doesn't look as bad as the others but any info on WTF is going on with them would be great!

See my signature grow log to see the setup they're in.

    Thanks in advance!

the look on the surface of the soil worries me more than the leaves. the soil looks dry and a little contaminated by limescale or something! are you using reverse osmosis water?seedlings dont mind having little excess water dont let them dry out so much!

For the most part, your lil ones look just fine.... Maybe one or two of the pics above showed abnormal leaf growth....

Want an educated response??? Educate us on your setup.... Click on the link in my sig, "The Soil Growers Troubleshooting Form".... Go there, copy the questions, bring them here, paste, answer and then we can have a better understanding of what is going on with your plants....

    Hey,

Well I water the seedlings using tap water thats stood still for 24 + hours..

I water them when the top part of the soil is a little dry but underneath is moist.. i wouldn't of thought they're under/overwater at this point. I've never had issues like this before.

I will fill out the form in a minute and see if that comes up with anything.

    What is reverse osmosis water?

Hi Ricky ,It"s water that has been cleaned with a reverse osomosis filtration system It removes contaminants from the water and that way you dont have ppm's messing with nutrient concentration. And pure water is always the best. Organic growers never use tap water it kills beneficial bacteria due to chlorine!

ppm means particals per million. for 1000000 particals of water their is the amount of contaminant 1000000/1=1 ppm 1000000/155= 155 ppm
