Strongest type of edible (butter, oil, etc)

So ive tried my fair share of edibles and never really got too excited about them, but the stories ive heard really make me want to try a nice strong version.

So I want to know what everybody here thinks is the best way to make a marijuana derived edible.

Ive heard of using coconut oil, then putting it in capsules. Cannabudder of course. Peanutbudder. All of these.

Im asking because Im going back home this weekend and Im geeting a 1/4oz of the best weed ive ever tried or seen, no matter where I go. And i want to take an 1/8th and make it into something edible. (that way if I fuck up I still have an 8th to smoke)

So if you guys have any suggestions of ways to make the most potent edibles PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE to inform me about it.
