Autoflower vs early flowering with regular strains
Im starting a grow in a stealth pc grow box and was contemplating using autoflowering seeds. I know it would be much easier, but it will have a lower yield and potency.
The question is, for a pc grow, should I just bite the bullet and get some autoflowers? Or should I just put a regular plant into flowering after 2 weeks of veg time?smokeymcpot92 Reviewed by smokeymcpot92 on . i know how autos work but could not tell you how they react in a grow space. Making clones from regular plants and flowering them asap is the best option for quality and quantity and space saving. you could have several plants 8 to15 in the pc growbox at the same time in little 4 inch square pots. but you need a fast flowering indica or indica dominant strain to achieve the best results. The faster the better! M-39 is a fast indica but it"s probably gona be hard to get seeds! And remember never make clones from feminized seeds (unless you like hermie issues)!!! If you already knew that? sorry but I have to add it to the post!

I actually didnt know that! Im still pretty new to this, and to be honest I would have ordered femd seeds and then taken a clone. lol But in reality, I could maybe fit 2 AF's in there and get an ounce if Im lucky, but it would be in just 2 months. And I could make a perpetual grow so that would be nice. But if I SCROG a regular plant it says i could get almost 2 ounces, but then again itd take a lot longer.
How much do you think I could get by making a bunch of little clones and growing them in there?

Plants hermie from stress not from being a fem seed clone.... Throwing out misleading info isn't cool....

ever wonder how they make feminized seeds with hormones blocking the male gene! so that"s the begening of why you dont clone with feminized seeds.

How much space do you have to work with? I am sure i can guide you to a autoflower that will out produce a phototype in that limited space in a 8-9 weeks period from seed. With the new larger autoflowering plants we have today. We are averaging 2 1/2+ ounce a plant in 9 weeks from seed. You just dont get those results when you force a photoperiod plant to flower at two weeks old.Not saying you cant but it just makes no sence to me to run a plant at 12/12 from the beginning.Just to have a smaller plant and a quick yield.when you can do it with a plant that is ment for it and most likely will out yeild the photoperiod plant if given proper care.Let me get to my friends grow and i will take a pic of some auto at 8 weeks from seed.i am sure you will like what you see.If you are in a pc box i think you will have to go with the smaller version of auto.
