Here is a compromise. We return to original 1913 tax bracket percentage so everyone making under $250K a year would pay no federal taxes at all, no payroll deductions and no forms to fill out or any of that bullshit. seems fair to me.

revised and restated ... this fails to account for inflation, therefore, what I propose is locking in this 1913 percentage based on gold instead of US currency. 145 oz would be the cutoff. anyone making earning more than 145 oz would be subject to a federal income tax of 1% for every oz above 145 oz a year. Any earnings over 24,190 oz would put you into the higher bracket of 5% or all earnings, less all allowable deductions, over 24,190 oz. This would be the same rate at in 1913 and would, one would think, remain static for years to come. assuming, of course, that we are not all thrown into space when the earth tilts next year, that is.

Because I disagree with the Wall Street partiers does not mean that I don't give a shit about corruption and the financial practices we are enduring. But I am not so short-sighted as to stop and blame the guys working within the law to make their legal living. Were it illegal, heads would be rolling. The problems stem from the financial and housing practices that Barney Frank has implemented through the House Financial Services commitee, as a great starting point.

Going after the bankers is like Obama saying he'd observe states rights on medical cannabis, then bashing and trashing the dispensary owner for selling a legal product in his state, and trashing him for paying his employees for the legal work they already performed. Or worse, have the feds put the owner and customers in jail since it is a federal offense.

Do you realize that most of the bonuses were tied to performance? Which means they got a small percentage of the profit margin for their excellent performance? Your bank itself, as a profit-driven machine, banked the billions while paying a pittance (in comparison) on the profits that person or division brought-in to the company. Had y'all as much experience, drive and ambition as those getting the bonuses, I'll bet you'd feel you've earned every penny. If not, you end-up in the mail sorting room dangerously close to the unemployment line.

These "Occupy" protests are beautiful aren't they.... It is exactly what our government wants from the people.... If you believe in the, "Inside Out, Bottom Up, Top Down" theory....

Supposedly, our government creates a separation between the rich and the rest with propaganda, rate hikes, financial meltdowns, tax payer funded bailout programs, job losses....making it hard for the common folk to get by comfortably.... This is the, "Inside Out", part.... Then once the common folk are tired of seeing the people on top living the good life while they struggle, they are expected to rise up together....hence the "Bottom Up" portion.... Then you have the final "Top Down".... This is where our government puts their firm hands down on the people....

What will become of these protests???....I don't know.... But I do know that the, "Inside Out", has already occured and we are now seeing the beginning of the, "Bottom Up".... It's just a matter of time that we'll see how the, "Top Down", will play out....if this theory proves to play out....

Then that would probably make you and almost everyone in this country a socialist.. social security, medicare, disability, etc are all things that most people think they deserve and are glad they have access to. All of which are social programs.

I would honestly be interested/amused to hear these far left leaning ideologies I have expressed. I am assuming what it comes down to is I don't agree with something you do, so must be a liberal. I have a sneaking suspicion that it has to do with the AZ immigration law and my opinion that Christie is a fucking idiot. In the happenstance the two things I just mentioned are what you are referring to I'll comment on them. Immigration... fuck the borders of the US yuh damn land thieves... I just don't think a nation built on the worst atrocities in history that dwarf even the holocaust in a land that is not rightfully yours should have any say who can or cannot live here. Sorry illegal immigration causes problems with your economy but.... maybe if the United Snakes changed their policies they wouldn't bee fucking up the rest of the world so bad that people have to leave their lands and cultures to find a better life in a foreign land.

Chris Christie... he is an enormous piece of shit that went after things that desperately need change, and he went after it all wrong. He endangered the future of my children and safety of all of NJ and people here realized it. Crime and murders skyrocketed here after his budget, hundreds and hundreds of police were no longer on the streets and some of our cities became reminiscent of the crime problems we had in the 90s. Imagine if Bloomberg did something that reversed all the hard work of Giuliani and people were being robbed at gunpoint in the bright of day in Times Square again... NYC would weigh his ass down and throw him into the east river... All his temper tantrums and hard work were for naught, Supreme court made him put money back into education, and now he is touting off on his 'support me' commercials how he added nearly a billion to education lol... He's calmed down, he only holds his town hall meetings in super conservative towns.. He is a failure here who gets talked up by clueless conservative media from abroad.. so clueless that him announcing for the 100th time he would not run for president was headline news...... I really don't get that shit, every time he has replied to that question he didn't just say no, he said no no no no no no I will not , no interest no no no.... Other than all that, he doesn't even make local news anymore. Non-issue.



Sooo... like I said, some ideas sprung from socialism aint too bad and most people will agree and happily collect their disability check thinking it is their right.Other than that, fuck socialism. I come from the inner city and I see how harmful and broken all the social systems are. Their inception might have been noble, but they all failed and failed miserably. At this point to abolish these programs would be cruel and unusual and only been a decade or so since they've tried to start reforming those programs and they have a far way to go before they even bein to resemble programs made to help people.....

As a modern nation the USA should be trying to help their poor back onto their feet, without some type of effort to do just that we would be seeing horrendous photographs of poverty and famine from here rather than those of the Somalian refugee camps in Ethiopia. I guess following your logic though anyone who thinks a human being who is in need of assistance should be assisted is a Socialist.. Lets take a Cristian charity as an example, the Salvation Army. They are an Evangelical Cristian organization with missions across the country and globe that assist the poor and havenots. For the most part they are, or at least with the Officers that I know personally, people who follow conservative ideologies.... Following your logic, I am beyond confused.. They must be Socialists... but yet.... they are not, they are just compassionate Christians who lend their aid and bankroll to those in need. They save lives, get homeless addicts off the streets, help them through recovery, give them work skills, jobs... they help those in need and I think that is a noble cause..

Like I had been saying, I can be in agree with this or that from this or that political ideology, but too much of one of these failed ideologies just doesn't work, nor does it seem to be sane. You have all failed time after time causing collapses, crisis, wars, depressions, recessions, so on and so on and still continue trying the same things over and over. The people who adhere 100% to one political ideology or another seriously disturb me. Lets take your left and right wing media sources as an example since they are so visible and vocal.

I watch Fox often and what I see confuses the shit out of me and scares me to a degree. The people who Fox is aimed at eat that shit up like it is Ambrosia and puke it back up onto the world. I watch their political commentary and listen to the arguments and it just baffles me how anyone is dim enough to gobble it up like they do. The rhetoric and arguments they spew seem to me to be borderline mentally unstable, pretty clueless and I can only assume the people listen to it have some deep rooted issues of their own. They spin off the conversation ignoring all the logical fallacies contained within them, they ignore the gaping holes in the logic and fail to see how easily refutable the points are. Even their opposition fails to see how shotty the arguments are and attempt to argue all the wrong things, but they got issues of their own which I will get to.. The people who watch this shit just take it as god's word and spew it back up onto the world, seen evident often on internet message boards...

Ok, then we come to NBC..... THEY ARE FUCKING INSANE... they scare the shit out of me, they are disturbing and so are the people who watch it.. No wonder they cannot function in a debate against a conservative, they are off their damn meds. When I see liberal posters on the boards, they just scare me, I get the feeling that the person who is typing is speed-balling or some shit, completely off their damn rockers.... OWS isn't just an American thing, the corruption and failure is widespread and wide-reaching. The Economics of the US and allies as well as the foreign and domestic policy policies are hurting everyone. Cartel violence, terrorism, corrupt regimes, poverty, death, famine, genocide, all this finds its root cause in these things and this is why protests are springing up across Europe, Asia, Australia, hell even fucking South Africans have joined in! The world is fucking sick of the illegal wars and occupations, the world is sick of financial systems that are corrupt and rob people of their lives, the world is sick and fucking tired of all this shit.... We all know the problems, so aware that it has become nothing less than rhetorical conversation, all politician lie, the Government is ran by corporations, etc etc.. hear this shit all the time sitting on a bar stool or in the break room, everyone knows it and what do they do?? NOTHING.....

Yeah sure, next election will be the bandaid to top all bandaids! It didn't work before, lets try it again! There is not a politician elected to a major office in this country that is not corrupt, that is not owned by some company or special interest, and all political action reflects this. Sometimes I think the best answer would be to round them all up in one place, lock em in, gas them, air it on every TV station live, set up a transitional Government and start from scratch with the mass executions of the previous governing parties fresh in the new candidates minds. I know the average patriot has some bizarre faith in the constitution being what will make a system that has never worked, work; but they fail to realize the US isn't 'great' because of their constitution. The US is great because of murder, robbery, war, genocide, slavery and the abuse of all and any peoples if in doing so brings about gain for them.

The have their own voices, we can see them, we can hear them and we surely don't need to rely on other peoples opinions and talking points in this situation, you can actually come up with your own viewpoint! People wanna deny that the Corporations and Governments are corrupt criminals that are causing misery across the globe. They want to ignore Neo-Colonialism and the big land grab in sub-Saharan Africa, which is ran by the corrupt Financial system of the mega powers of this world. They want to say if crimes had been committed people would be in jail... Why would they basically put themselves in jail? People want to pick and choose who is to blame, or blame someone else... Well, I wish these people the best of luck but the fact remains, it is tough to stay alive with your head in the sand... War, famine, poverty, nationalism, greed, double-standards etc, these are all symptoms of system that needs a major overhaul or to be wiped out.

It is infuriating to me that such a small group of people bring strife and conflict to billions upon billions of human beings for their own gain. OWS isn't just going to go away, they've had so much money donated to them, they are planning events for a year down the road and they are refining their movement by the day. Most detractors agree with them on some points, and disagree with them on many... ok good, do something about it, we all have a voice in OWS and it is not a partisan thing. I've been to Zuccati park, I've seen all types there, of every political persuasion, of every age, color and religion. Sure libs might want to hijack OWS like the cons did the Tea Party, but what do you expect from two political parties that are gasping for air? For the most part they are resistant to any political ideology, which will hopefully mean for them that they won't be susceptible to a hijacking. hell Michael Moore damn near got lynched but good for him that no matter who you are you have a voice there and the majority brought the order back so the man could say what he had to say.

Actually, all 3 of those are insurances we are forced to pay into. So right-off the bat you're barking up the wrong tree. Alas, the monies were not supposed to be borrowed against (stolen) by the political hacks that couldn't resist the temptation. Not only did they borrow against it, seems they leveraged against it for more earmark bucks. (unnecessary programs designed to gain favor with the home crowd...usually announced close to primaries or general elections)
