It's time to Occupy!
I'm interested to see how many people on this forum support this Occupy Movement and how many sheeple that don't.
As for myself I support the idea's that are flowing around within this movement. As a matter of fact I plan on going to Occupy: Phoenix on the 16th to get some coverage of the peaceful protest that will be going on.
So far to my knowledge I know of a few major Occupy Movements that are going around our country. New York, Chicago, Los Angles California, Texas and a few cities in my state. I've read of rumors that there are almost 1,000 cities/towns in America that has this happening and it's growing! Not to mention on the eastern side of the world as most should know by heart.
Provide what ever information that you see fit that applies to this topic. If you happen to have personal video coverage or photo's or would like to share what you've found on the internet please do. Look at the matter how ever you like, but I've been predicting that this was going to happen in America 3 years ago and it looks like my prediction came true and I have another prediction but I object to share as so I don't be claimed or viewed as a Fear Monger. I'll see how steady this topic goes and then I might consider. For those who have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about I'll share a few video's down below.

It's time to Occupy!
Why are they protesting?
Do you think most of these people REALLY understand why they are protesting or is it a giant street party?
I think they need to go protest in Washington D.C. that is where policy is made.
Honestly, comparing this to Egypt?

It's time to Occupy!
If you do a little research about this matter then you'd understand the reasoning behind this movement. By the way, there are people protesting in Washington DC. So far there are about 911 cities around the world within 82 countries globally ready for tomorrow October 15th. There are estimated 1,500+ cities/towns alone in America that are occupied or to be soon.
The reason they are comparing this to Egypt and other various countries is because they went through the same day events. What has happened on the other side of the world is the beginning of what's happening in America. Several other countries around the world may have been protesting for a new regime change but in America we're protesting that the 1% proclaimed as the rich need to be taken out or flat even with the 99% proclaimed as the middle class or the working class. Houses across the country are being taken away from people because they can't afford the rates that the banks are asking for from the people so they lose their house and now their in debt not to mention any personal items being repossessed. You have people losing jobs because they're being sent over seas to the Asian community and the Middle East. As gas prices slowly rise up in various parts of the country you have people not being able to afford other such debt and so more is now on their shoulders. We have collage students that can't pay for their tuition because the classes they've taken have already put them in debt and on top of that the classes don't create jobs for these people they just give them a higher percentage of the possibilities of getting into what they went to school for. It's every where and if you or anyone else fails to realize this then only time will bring the truths that I speak as well as many others around the globe. This isn't something that should be shrugged off like it's some petty injury. The truth might be hard to swallow but it's possible because millions around the world are starting to realize what is happening here. Some people even end up in jail, hospitals and even dead just to bring out the single truths that are kept away from the masses. I hope that what I have been typing and sharing with everyone on the forum that stumbles across this topic at least realize that there is something going on and it's real big... really big.

15th october: #United we will re-invent the world
So basically my point in standing is do the math. This isn't just a little street party and these people do understand what their protesting about. Their are two main ideas floating around in the movement at least in America if not more that is to end the federal reserve (banking system) and to bring down the rich from their high chairs. Owners of major corporations shouldn't be sitting back generating millions and billions of dollars why the common man has to do all the hard labor and make shit for money with his blood and sweat. This movement is here, this movement is real and it's not going to stop because it's only the beginning for what is to come if we don't make a stand.
Do your homework, use the internet for what it was suppose to be used for! For the people that have a hard time understand anything and want to try and disprove anything related to this information please do as you will but read these words of mine and don't rule anything out. Take a deeper look into history and you shall soon see the truths of the world.

It's time to Occupy!
DenverRelief thank you for sharing that with us. Early this morning I over saw a couple news articles and videos about that protest. I don't know how you feel about this situation but if you ever come across anything new relating to this information then please share it with us. I reside in Arizona so it isn't so easy for me to find out much about anything outside my state unless it's something a lot bigger.
Just out of curiosity, how do you feel about this movement? Are you for it, against it or neutral? Feed back on this subject might be helpful for others who are confused or lost in the the idea of such a thing.\"What a majestic universe we live in, that the primordial elements of the stars dance their way into such intricate consciousness to the tune of sacred geometry and the rhythm of the heart.\"

It's time to Occupy!
I'm sorry, I don't buy into this philosophy.
So you're saying a guy like Herman Cain who worked for everything he has should give it up because others haven't?
You're telling me my uncle who fought in Vietnam, graduated from college and started a construction business isn't entitled to live off the fruits of his labor?
What you are talking about is redistribution of wealth and that is a VERY, VERY slippery slope to walk down.
So the government is to play Robin Hood, take the wealth away from the people who earned it and give it to those who haven't?
What incentive would ANYONE have to ever start a business?

It's time to Occupy!
These "Occupy" protests are beautiful aren't they.... It is exactly what our government wants from the people.... If you believe in the, "Inside Out, Bottom Up, Top Down" theory....
Supposedly, our government creates a separation between the rich and the rest with propaganda, rate hikes, financial meltdowns, tax payer funded bailout programs, job losses....making it hard for the common folk to get by comfortably.... This is the, "Inside Out", part.... Then once the common folk are tired of seeing the people on top living the good life while they struggle, they are expected to rise up together....hence the "Bottom Up" portion.... Then you have the final "Top Down".... This is where our government puts their firm hands down on the people....
What will become of these protests???....I don't know.... But I do know that the, "Inside Out", has already occured and we are now seeing the beginning of the, "Bottom Up".... It's just a matter of time that we'll see how the, "Top Down", will play out....if this theory proves to play out....

It's time to Occupy!
Dont forget about wars, Iraq and Afghanistan. They are ridiculously expensive to fund. I hope govt will not fund next new war. idgaff who started the war and it's not Africa thing.
I am not too sure about OWS stance and I am weebit confused. Hell, what do you expect from govt's response to the protest? Spanking their hands and scolding them for punishing citizens and for their abysmal avarice? I cannot envision this. Granted, some politicians are in corporates' pockets and Banks took the bailout money and paid back some. I can understand the childish ploy, but damn OWS thats theatrical. The whole America heard OWS for a while and it's not that effective. In middle east, protests are damn violent unlike here. What's wrong with this picture? On other hand, raising taxes on rich people will not make any difference. Some jobs always will be outsourced. Americans are too expensive to hire, unless they are willing to accept lower wages. Or new generation entrepreneurs are willing to pay their shares for taxes and hire Americans out of patriotism or investment, so big corps can dwindle.
I so hope this wont lead to London Riot. This whole situation is so confusing to me and it inspired me to learn about economics and politics!

It's time to Occupy!
^ yeah it is one hellofa show, hu?
Here is something to think about, if your like me and put off your taxes to the absolute last moment .. Today we hear about 9-9-9 tax rate and everyone gets excited because we can scrap the tax "code" but what was the federal income tax and federal sales tax for the first 130 years or so of our nations history? 0-0-0 In 1913 the creation of the banking cartel known as the "federal" reserve began "federal income taxes". That year it became 1% of income over $3,000 and 6% surtax for income over a half million, a lot of cash it those days and the made you fill out the four page tax form!
www.getrichslowly.org .. original-income-tax-form-from-1913/
a year later a single bullet pulls us into WW1 and man made inflation would drive us into the great depression. and now .. well .. here they go again.
Vote Ron Paul in your state's Primary Election! register as a Republican if you have to, that is what I plan on doing, anyway.[align=center]:s4:
