Two rooms for growing?

I'll get to the point. I only ever done growing outdoors so have no practicle experience of indoor growing at all but I have been reading up on it. Recently I managed to buy a small house which I don't really like anyway and want to convert the two bedrooms into grow rooms each 10 x 10 (i'll be starting off with a much smaller grow in part of one room to get to grips with it first) but I have the following problems.

No real idea on the best grow method and lighting for the best yield of two 10 x 10 grow rooms.
No idea of just how much power I will be using (any guess on the minimum total watts for the grow rooms will be great)
And I'm REALLY REALLY worried about the massive power bill causing an unwanted knock on my door bearing in mind I live in the UK (my biggest problem). I would also like to say I won't be living in the house so usual electric costs of living won't apply which will help. Would buying and electric heater or two and an ark welder help explain the bill should anyone ask?

Any advice on these problems will be great.

Theoretically if someone wanted to do such a thing.... 4000watts minimum would be needed for each 10x10 space.... 6000watts in each room would be closer to sun-like intensity.... Run each 1k lamp at 220v and you will use less amps per lamp.... Method would totally be up to the skill level of the grower....

Sounds like you have some thinking to do....

lol yeah would a stadium grow help much with reducing the electric needed cos I been looking at that method and it seems logical using a method of getting as much area possible as close to the lights as possible.
