Overnight storage won't hurt your trim at all.

Leave it on a plate, put it in a bag, whatever, 24 hours won't make a noticeable difference
When I was very young I used to clean the seeds out of an ounce at a time, and grind up the rest.
It did degrade a little, but it took a month, and it never lasted that long.

On a side-note, the long simmer is not necessary unless you are going to ingest the budder raw.
I use my butter to make cookies.
The heat of baking decarboxylates the active ingredient at 375 F. in 10 or 15 minutes when you include the cool down time.
So, I only need to simmer for an hour.
Just made some this morning, will make p-nut budder cookies tomorrow.

Relax and enjoy,

Weezard Reviewed by Weezard on . Can I save ground trim for budder till tomorrow? Hey, folks. I was just about to make budder in my crock pot (a 24-36 hour low simmer) from trim I'd frozen and just ground up in a food processor... when my firewood guy told me he's got someone coming to stack some cords in the morning. I don't want to have cannabis wafting out into the garage while they're here. My possibly silly question is this: will the THC from my freshly-blended trim DEGRADE if I wait till tomorrow? Thanks!
