Save those Dead leaves!
ā?¢ I had a 1 gallon Ziploc baggie full of dead throwaway leaves, ā??no Budā?. First I ran it through the wacky willies $500 bubble hash machine and got a small amount of Hash. I was going to throw away this dead leaf already washed left over junk but I decided to cook it just to see if there was anything good left in it. I got out the Crockpot, put 4 cups of cheap oil is about 2 cups of water and the un-ground old brown dead leaves, set the Crockpot on low and let it cook overnight. The next day I let it cool a little bit and squeezed the mixture through cheese cloth. I then cooked it up in a cheap spice cake mix, the mix was to watery so I added three eggs & a little flour because the recipe called for 1/3 cup of oil and I put in about 3 cups of oil/THC mix, (or I'm thinking that all the THC had been washed out and that may be cannabinoids were all that were left?) Now for the surprising part, I ate a 3" x 3" piece of the cake thinking that if I was lucky I might feel a little bit. I felt a whole lot and it seemed to last all night and I was still lightheaded the next day. If someone had told me this I wouldn't have believe them! So don't throw out your leaves, cook them and post your results.

Save those Dead leaves!
Had a similar experience.
Ran my trim through bags and got 11% by weight of superior bubble hash.
Next day, I took the "spent" leavings and dumped them in a pot of boiling water with a pound of butter.
Simmered for 4 hours.
Filtered, separated, and made cookies with the butter.
Yeeha!
Makes sense.
There are capitate glands that we knock off for the bubble.
There are also glands set deep in the leaf that can not be easily dislodged and there is resin coating most surfaces from ruptured glands as well.
I find that butter makes an excellent solvent for that resin.
And it cooks hot enough to de-caboxylate when the cookies bake, so you really don't need to boil it for more than an hour.
So, that's good advice brah.
Waste nothing, want for nothing.
No gotta take our word for it folks
Try it!
You will be pleased.
(And perhaps a li'l ticked when you realize how much goodness was just getting tossed.)
Aloha

Yep. Trimmings and old leaves make great edibles. I throw them in the oven for about a half hour on the lowest setting which is about 200 degrees and then put them through a coffee grinder and then put it all in jars to save for brownie mix.
