    First Grow Log

First grow log so feedback and critiquing are appreciated. Started on the log a little late, but sprouted 9 bag seeds (from decent batches of smoke) about two weeks and a half weeks ago. Used damp coffee filters in a cheap zip lock bag. Just installed a 400w mh lamp about 5 days ago now (they were under two 40w t12 plant/aquarium bulbs before that). Hoping that the new lamp will cut down on the amount of stretching that I saw in my first grow (not documented in a log). Would like to try and top these to maximize yield, but think I need to wait a little longer to do that? Only one pic for now. More to come...

For some reason I can't post attachments on this entry yet...

Hell you got your pic to show so you are already doing better than me haha. Mine just shows links. You should be able to go advanced and attach.

Right on for the tip! Worked like a champ. Got a couple of pics from a few days ago. Going to transplant these into bigger pots tomorrow and snap some more photos.

Next time when you start them keep the t12 very close to the plants. I'm talking like a couple inch from the plants, the light will be so intense there gona become dense and bushy instead of stretchy!!Dont do this with other types of light only neons (no heat output, it cant burn the plant)

oh yeah also 4" plastic pots with saucers next time you always want drainage so roots establish well. Use those foam cups for cloning they retain water cutings establish well in them, excess water can be good when you want a branch to form roots.

I will keep the t12 closer next time when they are starting out. You think I should keep them on the t12 until I the 4th/5th set of true leaves is up, or when should I switch them to the MH? Also, had them sitting in cups with holes in the bottom and then another cup around that one. When I transplanted them today to the next size pot, they had roots all the way down and reaching into the outer cup that was still retaining a little bit of water. Pics after the transplanting coming in a min...
