The supposed 'crackdown' in CA is reportedly for "For Profit" dispensaries, collectives and co-ops. Unfortunately, we recently had 2 laws signed in by Gov. Brown (which have previously been posted) with a lot of liberal language that can be twisted to whatever the "local" government wants. For local enforcement.

In light of that, one collective (The Health and Wellness Collective) in Riverside has taken it to court, after being cited to "close" within 45 days. The collective read the letter of the law with lawyers before setting up shop, and is Not For Profit. Set up and run by most collective members (lowered prices). The case is going through the circuit courts now. First round: LOST. What does this mean. Not so LIberal in CA. Will depend on local gov't. The only thing we can strive forward for: is total legalization or at the very least to get it down-graded to a schedule 4 drug, as opposed, to Sechedule 1-currently as if it were fun drugs of the streets in the '60's. Not all of us tried 'everything'.

Not so liberal in CA. However, the news does report that CA supplies most pot to the nation. I suspect a lot comes from South of the Border.

The 'crackdown' that started this past week-end was "For Profit" groups. The one I know of, is definitely Not For Profit and the Riverside Local Gov't wants it closed. It doesn't seem right, the only Not For Profit Collective may close. It seems weed should be shared, not priced out of medical use!

So, keep growing your own and be happy with whatever limit you are allowed to grow. I believe we are allowed 6 mature plants and several 'babies'. If you lose a crop-you are toast without the babies! Plus, if you are unlucky and have a bunch of males-toast again.

Bottom line is: The Gov't discovered that The door is ajar and "there is a lot of money in marijuana". Most likely, the Gov't realizes, they can make "jobs" by hassling growers. Hopefully, CA will not be a flagship for bullshit from Local Gov't. Certainly, the nation's attention is at Wall Street right now and taking action against Medical Marijuana is to get the focus off of our gov't 'bail-outs' and the current protests of (Wall Street) to another topic-Medical Marijuana. Doesn't look like the 2011 'Hippies" protesting Wall Street have much senergy. pr
