I'm thinking till the bud mass stops increasing or 3/4 of the pistols are browned.

I brought one of my girls in last night I had topped her last week top cola was 7.5g dry. So prollie an ounce of nice nugs and enough shwaggy to make a nice gumby.

Looks great man good work. Are those nug pics after they were dried and now they're ready for curing? Or whats the status on those?

I'm guessing this is all for your own personal smoke, correct? That being the case.. something I like to do during harvest/dry time is to trim my buds up about as much as you have trimmed them there, and put all those trimmings into their own bag for making hash or whatever you might want to do with them. Then I would take my buds and trim them further until they're nice, tight nuggets with no external leaves exposed by trimming all of the leaves even with the outer most flowers. I take those trimmings and put them in their own separate bag and use those to roll blunts/joints or any other type of large pack form of smoking since they are plenty frosty for smoking purposes. Since I don't like to smoke a whole lot at once or go for a strong "buzz", I prefer just enough to feel good. If I use the "round 2" trimmings and roll a blunt, I can sit there and puff on it for a while taking a fair amount of tokes, without getting too overwhelmed because they're a bit less potent than the buds.

End result is you get a nice bag of quality shake, ready for rolling/packing. And in addition to that your buds will be perfectly manicured without feeling like you lost something from excessive trimming. Personally I just enjoy the feeling of smoking a "cigar" while I'm just hangin' out, and a big joint of powerful buds is just too much for me.

Don't take this the wrong way and think I am saying you didn't trim your buds well enough because they look great. Just suggesting my personal preferences since its your first time growing. Oh and I almost forgot... the extra detailed trimming has another hidden benefit... its a great excuse to sit around and examine/stare at your hard earned harvest.
