I had the same problem.. try going to the windows update site and updating all the drivers and stuff for your sound card.. that worked for me coz i have an SiS sound card

Because i'm insane anyways i have this problem my speakers are really quiet i turned up the volume on the computer all the way but they're still just a whisper i can bareley hear them above the comp fan. now they say that they are "passive" and i assume that is why there is no volume control on the speakers themselves so if anyone could help i would be sooo thankful because have no sound sucks but haveing very very quiet sound is just as bad!!!! :mad: Rating: 5
