How to view new messages? How to have latest show up on top of list?

Question from a new user- I logon and goto NM forum.

When I click on a topic, it goes to that thread.

I would like to see messages sorted by date - with latest at top. What I see now is a Sept 2011 message followed by a May 2010, followed by a Feb 2011.

I assume there has to be a way to sort.

Click on the settings icon in the upper right hand corner. Then on the third box titled my settings go down and click on general settings icon. Then you will see thread display options. You should be able to pick from 4 different settings for your thread display mode. I think this is what you are talking about.
