    Dryer Sheet Experiment....Who's Down???

I have always used dryer sheets for off in the woods and since i started i use them in the room and never had a pest problem till i brought my tomato plants in and noticed it was over ran with spider mites but that was the only thing that had them so i carefully took it outside and disposed of it. I have completely forgot about the dryer sheets till then and still no sign of the mites on anything else even my other tomato plants.

lets not go too far and write wall street or popular mechanics::wtf:... next thing we know they will be finding out the effective chemical removing it from the dryer sheets and marketing them as a stand alone product!

Don't count on dryer sheets for mite control.
Their entire life cycle happens above ground.

    They avoid the sheets.
But, outdoors, they will still infest upper branches.

I have none in my veg room.
Probably due to the concentration of the scent.
I imagine the li'l buggers stop at the air vent an' say Feh! Smells like sheet in dere!

I jus' stick da outside gals into my shower stall with a fresh Nopest strip for a couple hours.
Then wait 2 days and repeat, to kill the new hatch.
Then again in 2 days to catch any stragglers.
In between, I store the NPS in a zip baggie to keep it fresh.
    Works a treat.

Just leaving a Nopest strip in the grow room 24/7 is not advised.
That will create resistant strains of mites at the perimeter.
Then we are all screwed, yah?
    Aloha, Y'all

    Weeze
