first time cannabis grower, any help apperciated!

hi well im new to growing cannabis, i mean i've done a hell of a lot of reading about this for the past few months and i was just wondering if theres any tips anyone could give me?
also im posting these pics for others to give me there opinions, these plants are only around 12 days old, in advance thank you to anyone who helps, if your gonna bitch and moan do it somewhere else please. [attachment=o278892] [attachment=o278893] also will upload pictures as the days go on, these are growing in direct sunlight 12/12 with ventilation from wind and a small fan as im starting flowering straight away, watering daily with small amounts of water, when the top inch or so becomes dry.

Well, I'm new here and new to growing as well, but I think you should probably start here and then maybe check out this. I have found the stickies, especially in this particular section of the site to be very informative. Information abounds on this site for the taking, now get to reading

thank you for the help, dont think im gonna be reading up on it at the moment though done to much reading for the minute haha, im leaving the ph for the minute because theres nothing i can do for it, an the plant seems to be fine and growing fast, 2 to 4 new leaves a day, and in truth ive been reading about how to grow for a year on and off, anyways im uploading these pictures any thoughts on them on how you think there going is welcome [attachment=o278915], [attachment=o278916] thats only 1 of the plants out of the 2 i have, its a day younger than my first one, its not growing as good as the first and its stretched, but the stems hardening nicely

Don't over-water - usually our worst mistake.

yeah i did that with my first attempt ever and killed the plant, im letting these 2 dry out (the top few inches of the soil) usually takes around a day or so for the heat of the sun and the wind to dry out before giving it a slight watering not much but i figure its better to let it get thirsy than over water it again, and i can always water again when needed, and thank you for the advice

oh and any help on inducing flower would be appreciated, as im forcing flowering now, there probably about 9-10" high, about 4 nodes and more growing, what kind of light cycles could i do, like 10 hours light 14 dark? or 11 light 13 dark etc as the days are getting shorter now
