Clones : How much of plant until not safe?

    Hi All,
Trying to find out, how far up a plant i can go for clones until it is unsafe for plant. Thinking maybe half way up? Looked all around and can't really find an answer.
    All replies are appreciated

I've taken them from lower branches so not to disrupt the newer growth. FWIW

You should take the cuttings from the lower part of the plant and not the woody part. You not gonna kill it or anything,so don't worry!
