I'm pretty sure In order to overdose and die on mushrooms, you would have to eat over your body weight or some astronomically large amount. You couldn't even eat that much, as your stomach could not hold it.

So, I wouldn't worry about overdosing on shrooms.

But, you could take too much, and maybe get freaked out. Thatcould be considered "over dosing".

i do know someone who ate an ounce and a half of dried and went all nuts and went to some mental intstiution. but he already had some psycological problems. but yeah, brokendown is right, your stomach can only hold like 3 lbs of substance in it or something like that and u need to eat more than that, making it impossible to od. but i bet you can eat enough to make yourself whacko, but who would spend that much money to trip one time?

You won't have a heart attack, but you can have a plain ol bad trip, unless of course you have a bad heart. Honestly, I don't know any people with heart problems who eat boomers...I'm sure there are some grandpa's out there still living the summer of '67...but aside from that no no heart attacks!

Dr. Albert Hoffmann, the father of LSD (and more), who was born in 1906, is still alive and reportedly (at least until very recently), still trips 2X a month. If someone in their 90's can still hold it together, I woudn't worry yet
