    Rain Water??

    Question on this subject.

Since it rarley rains in Texas. I took the opportunity to throw a bucket out under a rain. Cleaned bucket good before filling with rain water.

After about 30 mins it stopped raining. Almost 1/4 of a Gatorade 1qt bottle filled. I noticed it had a yellow tint to it. Since I didn't get enough I decided to catch run off from the roof. I noticed the run off was even more yellow than before. Thinking this run off may be contaminated by the shingles I decided to filer it twice through a rag. Then filled up the Gatorade bottle to the top. Can this rain water/rain run off mixture do harm to my girlies?

I did a Ph test and it was at 7.0. But then again I don't have just a water tester. My tester has where you add soil (just a Tad) then the powder capsule and last the water.

So second question. Can my current Ph system be used on just water? Or is it a must that I mix with soil?

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Rain Water??

Let me also add that even after filtering the water isn't as yellow as before. But still has a tint of it similar to urine dilluted.

use tap water ...it's more dependable. If you can drink it, it's close enough
