Think my plants have root rot help!!!!!!!
[attachment=o278604][attachment=o278605][attachment=o278606][attachment=o278607][attachment=o278608]
Apparently a picture says a thousand words so thats saved alot of typing. I think my pics just say get a better camera. I know the first two pics are bad but i used them because u can see the colour of the roots atleast plus because i couldn't be bothered to go take any better ones.
Anyways moving on, i'll keep it simple; I'm a newb, pretty much a babysitter for when my other half ain't here. The plants have started losing colour this is going back 3 ish weeks now. I thought it was cause my partner had cut them back too much and they couldn't handle it but that was all guess work. We left them a few days but nothing was getting better with them so he told me to stop using the nutrients when i watered them 2-3 times a day. I won't lie, i never watered them three times a day more like once or twice. Getting back to why i'm here, the plants haven't gotten any better and i've been using just water for over a week now. The other day i noticed a rotting smell coming from them and decided to take some pics tonight cause i think it might be root rot but to be fair i know nothing so any advice would be helpful . If it does sound like root rot then i have seen a post that says to try 3% h202 cause it adds oxigen and kills off bacteria. My partner doesn't think that sounds right and has left it upto me to decide if were gonna chuck the plants or not. I want to save them if i can but if it is root rot i kinda think maybe it's best to start over.desire Reviewed by desire on . Think my plants have root rot help!!!!!!!
