Well having grown Thai, I did note minimal smell until ripe. I doubt seriously unless there is a lot of genetic changes that there is no way it will hit even 20%. Most of those claims are garbage. Go for reputable breeders that win Cup awards. When they claim an amount it usually is pretty close because of the competition where it was actually measured.
