This is Jared. [attachment=o278550]

Jared is ~3 months old and ~8 inches tall. Right now, he should be in flowering with his sisters. I focused all of my paternal mistakes into this one, lonely little plant because I freaked out at every little thing and way overdid it.

Let's take a look at some of what this plant has been through:
  • Wrong soil
  • Nute burn
  • Lamp burn
  • pH trouble (acid)/Nute lockout
  • transplant and pruning stress
  • Overwatering

There is more, but those are the highlights. I'm posting pictures of this, mainly for the lulz (I know I'm not the only one here who has ever messed up a plant) and the irony of having a plant that can't flower, isn't vegging and won't die. But if this picture of poor little Jared (who is a girl) can prevent plant abuse by overbearing parents, then he won't have gone through this in vain.

Anyway, the rest of the litter should be finished and harvested by mid-November and I'm not going to be able to start another grow until after the new year, so I'm going to pull the plug on the MH light and leave Jared to pass peacefully (or not, it's clear that there are stronger forces at play here) in the SoCal sun.

Anybody else have any wonderful object lessons in over-parenting that they'd like to share?
