ALL MASTERS AND SEASONED GROWERS!!!I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!WITH SEEDLINGS!!!

This is my second grow. My first grow was a 4oz Northern lights Haze outdoors. My current grow are all autos a Short stuff Onyx (AK 47) 6 days old, Short stuff Blue himalaya (Kush)5 days old, and a 7 dwarfs Gigantes (White widow) 3 days old. I'M CONSIDERING GROWING INDOORS; needless to say all were started indoors like my first grow. I'm using Root Organics 707 soil, with 1/2 cup of lime like my first grow, in 5 gallon pots watered with a gallon (ph 6.0), soil runoff (ph 6.8). My concern that the they are growing slow, especially the B.H. which has had the same two leaves for the past few days and showing no signs of the 2nd set. The Onyx 2nd set look weird. And it seems like the leaves could be a little dark. I know it's early but I would appreciate some suggestions. I'm starting in my closet which had a heat problem like 90 degrees. I just added a vent connected to the AC which brought the heat down to like 81 degrees Peak, and the cool line blowing across the plants with 2 good fans running. If their is a problem, Firstly I thought it could be the heat (which I fixed). I was thinking that the soil could be too old or too hot (which I thought would be solved by the soil sitting for a yr). I saw a few dime sized pieces of bark in the soil, maybe the roots could be stuck (if thats the problem how could I solved this). I read that dark leaves could be from nitrogen toxicity, I haven't added any nutes. Lately I've been thinking about transplanting these to a different soil (if so what kind of soil would you suggest?). Or maybe taking my chances outdoors which it gets 90 degrees during the day. I want to get these girls to growing I dont want to lose'em. I know it's early, but I would appreciate any suggestions, I respect the advice of the growers on this site.

Waaaaaaaaaay too much moisture in the soil is what I would guess is what is causing them to grow slowly....1gal of water in 5gal worth of soil....for a seedling??? You should have started in a small container and then transplant before flower....

Large pots are for large plants....autoflower strains are small....

Start with that....as for soil, get yourself a quality soil....

2- 100 watt daylight cfl's and 1- 150w warm light cfl i used on my first grow.

So, one gallon of water is too much to wet the soil even though it sat for a week? and that was 2 weeks ago?

And what would you consider quality soil?

When I plant seedlings I only use a spray bottle with water and keep the first few inches of soil moist until they really start to grow. I just saw a guy with auto flowering plants that were a month old and maybe 6" tall.

So, one gallon of water is too much to wet the soil even though it sat for a week? and that was 2 weeks ago? ----water pulls oxygen down into the root zone each time you water....since you have only watered once and did it with entirely too much soil and too much water, your little ones root zone isn't getting the oxygen at a rate possible for rapid growth.... Cannabis likes wet to dry cycles....and has made it clear to you that it doesn't like to be in a constantly wet soil....

And what would you consider quality soil? Fox Farms Ocean Forest and Happy Frog (can be found at local hydro stores) on the higher end and SuperSoil brand (can be found at home de-pot) on the low....

You dont want to transplant Autos.

They should be planted in their only/final pot.

Transplanting can cause some stress to the plants which will slow their growth. That is a bad thing for autos since they have a set lifespan.

It is ok to start auto's in them red plastic cups.Rule of thumb always transplant them to final containers when the first sign of flowering appear or around 3 weeks old.Just what i feel is best from experience.
