Does that include the urge to kill everyone, or kicking and punching every door in the house. How about punching through a window and breaking two knuckles in my right hand.
Yep I'm afraid I can get a little bit pissed off and that's when I have to just get away from all the plebs and morons who piss me off before I do something I may regret.
I also have a very bad temper and I scare the fuck out of myself when I think of what I'm capable of,I've spent the last 20 years learning not to lose it.
Martial arts (thai boxing/Aikido) helped me become more aware of the signs that I'm ready to blow my top,and the ganja keeps me from going totally Psycho.no matter what the problem is , in 100 years nobody will give a shit !

The secret to controlling such behaviors depends largely on the individual (it differs from person to person). You could, like Psychocat said, undergo training in the martial arts. However, if you are prone to violence you should tell your instructor. That way he/she can closely monitor your training to make sure that you are infact learning to control the aggression that haunts you in your daily life.
"Why" (is always an excellent question).
1) By losing sight of the control aspect of whatever discipline you are training in, you have just made yourself a deadly weapon in the eyes of the law; meaning that a simple bar-room altercation can and will be seen as a felony assault. That means: Ta Da!!!! LOCK UP!!! Lock Down!!!
2) A belt doesn't make you tough. Just because you are learning to attack and defend doesn't mean you should go to the local pub looking to try out what you just learned in a training exercise on whomever decides to "mean mug" you from across the way. Even more simply put: Because you have been given a belt for doing well in the dojo doesn't garauntee that you won't get the teeth slapped out of your face on the street.
3) Avoiding dramatic situations that could lead stressful or violent situations. Sometimes you have to be the one to use your brain and common sense, with a little foresight can go a long way. Get the fug out of Dodge before you snap!!! This includes choosing your associations a little better (i.e: Ranging from some maxi-pad that hangs out with a good friend that comes around smoking your stash and never throws in, to some recent member of the opposite sex who is great in bed, but get's under your skin).
4) Controlled breathing!!!! When all else fails and you are on the verge of mass murder: Take a deep breath...through a Gravity Bong! (1 set of 2-3 reps)it always turns that frown upside down in a hurry.
Knowing yourself is the first step in controlling yourself.
I hope I have been helpful. This is just my opinion...I could be wrong.

Just last night, as I was trying to sleep (it was 12:30 a.m.), my neighbor had his girlfriend over, who for some reason can't seem to understand that the sentence "Quiet hours begin at 11:00" entails not shrieking as loud as you possibly can in the middle of the fucking night, so I decided to let her find out by calling the R.A., who promptly came up and told them to keep the noise down. She regained control of the volume of her voice for a few minutes, and then started to slip back into shrieky bitch mode every now and then. I told myself, "If she fucking shrieks again, I'm just going to yell SHUT THE FUCK UP! at the top of my lungs..." and by what can only be explained by divine intervention, they left the room and for the first time in weeks there was actually quiet during quiet hours and I actually got to sleep before 2:00.
