Am, going back to your comment about our rights not being violated.

I just thought of this so forgive the back track.

You say that our rights have not been violated, but you cannot disregard that statement in the Patriot act.

you said the only example i have is something that hasnt happen yet.

correct me if im wrong but didnt we invade Iraq on MY very same concept?

Just seems to me that if you beleive in a war that was based on something that didnt happen yet, that in itself gives basis to my claim that our rights have been violated.

    Peace.

we didnt go to war with Iraq based on that he has weapons of mass destruction? he didnt use them on anyone but his own people

and someone as closed minded as you shouldnt give 2 shits about some backwards ass country like Iraq.

so basically we went to war based on the assuption he has these weapons and is going to use them.

so if thats not what we were all told we went to war for what did we go to war for?... mind you I already know, but i doubt you do.

so if simply the threat of something happening is basis to invade... well god damn that new phrase in the patriot act starts to look pretty scary.

and just because it hasnt happen yet... well i guess your right none shouldnt feel threatened at all, we can all live our happy american dream lives...

they made that statement for a reason and they plan on useing it.

believe me, i agree the wmd idea was stupid,a blunder.every nation on earth thought he had wmd.alqueda had training camps there,he funded palestinian suicide bombers, and didnt abide by the un for 13 years.game over.we even gave his punk ass 48 hours right at the end.now his dumb ass is locked up ,his boys got popped, his country held free elections for the first time in 50 years where more people risked their lives to vote than people voted here.

look at democracy fires all over that region(wich the people who i talk to that LIVE THERE are very excited about.they say bush has big balls.

like i always say, more people protest the war in america than they do in iraq.lol.

the iraq war was a huge victory for george bush.on january 2 you saw what the real iraqis thought about it.as did the people in afghanistan, ukraine, egypt, saudi arabia, kuwait.

does it suck?to be on the wrong side of history every time?oh well.

That sentence (I'm using the term loosely) didn't make any sense.

whos your prime minister?martin?sounds like your govt has some problems of its own up there.
What does that have to do with anything? Do you sincerely believe that I just have an irrational hatred of Americans, that the nation-state is in anyway valid? I just can't imagine what you're trying to argue here.

i know we arent perfect down here, but we are alot better off than any other country on earth.sure,we have problems but we are BALLIN down here son.
Who is 'we'? I'm not talking about some mythical abstraction called 'America', I'm talking about the concrete actions of the American ruling class.

man would you please read what i have written and answer it accordingly?

im not talking about W's so called great actions im talking about the Patriot act and how it affects us as a society.

you however take what i say contort it a bit and toss it back out in yet another agrresive move towards me. meanwhile you dont stay on topic at all and 90% of your answers are one liners that in the end try to insult me.

something you need to know down there in TX son. Our skins here in NY are very thick. you have to try much harder than you have been to get me mad in any way. I assume thats your purpose for the things you say at the end of your posts and sometimes thats all the post is.

he constantly ruins every thread i start by posting multiple times and never even comes close to addressing anything specific, or related to the topic even...then tells us all that's refuted everything.

    it'a quite amusing.

    Your a fucktard.[/QUOT

your blame america mentality amuses me.it is all prevalent on the left.your liberalism crosses the line from criticism to anti-americanism when it shows a pathological hatred of america, and when it faults the U.S. for offenses you guys routinely excuses in the nations enemies.

are liberals incapable of the kind of practical moreal reasoning that foreign policy requires?it seems you are.most liberals are content with slogans that cant survive the slightest scrutiny."Violence never solves problems."this is manfestly not true.violence helped to end the regimes of adolf hitler and benito mussolini.the atomic bombs, however controversial their use,did solve the problem of un unyielding japan..violence ended the taliban.

another favorite of mine that lots of you guys post,"You cant impose democracy at gun-point."thats more liberal bullshit. In REALITY ,at the end of world war 11 america imposed democracy at gun point on japan and germany, and it has proved a RESOUNDING SUCCESS in both countries.the problems with liberals is that you guys dont wanna give guns a chance.
Ok Amsterdam, I don't agree with anything you just said, but me calling you a fucktard was much too harsh. I apologize although I don't expect you to care. I don't have a pathological hatred of Americans and if you'll scroll up a little, I was very careful to highlight my dislike for their GOVERNMENT, and not their good, hard-working populace.
