    How cold is to cold?

    Hey all from oklahoma.

As many know, Oklahoma has had a very hot summer and now is stating to get really cold during the nights. My baby is about 6 feet tall and has been flowering for about a month and a half. Going very well. When is to cold, well, to cold? Also taking a trip soon and will be gone for a week. Should I let it go until I get back at the end of september or harvest now?

Once you notice frost in the morning then it's getting getting too cold. If they aren't done yet I wouldn't pick them, if you get some frost and it kills them then you have no choice.

Down to 40 is ok. Once you start getting around freezing the plant will just kill itself off. If your there to take care of it just start throwing a black plastic shhet over it at night. So even if it does drop below freezing a little the plant will stay above freezing.

    Thanks all.

I also am leaving for a trip in the next few days. Feeling weird about leaving my plant without any protection from neighbors and the such.

Should I just suck it up and harvest early and have something, or take a chance and let it be? Maybe just being paranoid LOL

Let me hear what you guys and gals think, Please

Have done it for 40 years when I've grown outdoors. Just cover from 9pm to 9am and it helps push the plant into flower.

Ok. So i Harvested and everything looks great. Have everything hanging in a dark closet. Is their anyway to dry out faster. Reason I ask is because I have a concert coming up and would love to bring some. One has been hanging for a week and is still damp!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Grab one or 2 buds and stick it on a plate in your oven at the lowest possible temp. It will be dry in less than a half hour but because it wasn't cured correctly it will still have a lot of chlorophyll in it and will smoke harsh.

Microwave for 5-7 second bursts for about 35 seconds then let dry out overnight.
