Using "charcole" in potting soil.
I would probably go to a pet store and get a large bag of the charcoal they use in aquariums, if the water is that salinity I'd probably filter it before watering too! Boiling it would remove the salt as well.
Purple Daddy Reviewed by Purple Daddy on . Using "charcole" in potting soil. Hello, I'm using potting soil and wan't to us CHARCOLE in my soil. I live here in Phoenix, Az and our water is high in salt. I willl buy bottle water if I have to but much rather use the back yard hose. Thus using CHARCOLE in my potting soill to capture the high salt. The Charcole I thaught about using is the same I use for BBQ and if so do I grind it up or do I use it in bisquett size...lol.
