My favorite girl, huge buds in formation, colas to kill for, just surprised me with a small branch tip -- covered in pollen sacks! My first hermie. And here I went to ALL this trouble to isolate the one male of my little family of seven. I just cut him down yesterday after allowing him to pollinate one of the females for a few days in isolation. Silly me, I wanted seeds. Be careful what wish for! All six females are budding nicely and are about six weeks from harvest -- the one with the hermie branch is the best of the bunch.

None of the sacks are open, I cut off that small branch and put it in water. Checked everyone out carefully and I don't see any others, but now I'm on high alert. I washed everyone down with a spray of water just in case.

So here's the question: does hermie pollen have a different effect on the seeds they produce? Are they more likely to be female? More likely to hermie? According to the Grow Bible (which I've read cover to cover in the last month) they are sort of "feminized" but it's not clear. Anyone here with experience?

Please don't tell me to kill the whole plant it came from. I won't do it. I will check her daily, I promise.
