First time grow, Most likely going to need some help.

One more seed germinated so I now have 9 plants in a 4x4 room thats only 3ft tall, so theres not much room for scroging, so ill have to use lst on the plants. Few questions: How long should I wait before using lst?, I still want the plants to be a little over 2ft tall. Also as of rite now I am only using the tubes for lighting, Im going to need more light (im freaking out thinking theres not enough light) so would it be ok to run the tube fluorescent's and the CFL's together? I know someone else suggested I only use the tubes but I dont think they will cut it. Oh and one more noob question, can I top the plants and use LST? Thanks again for the help! cheers

I shouldnt open my mouth about LST cause i usually stay away from it so you might want to look it up on this site to double check. I believe its fine to start lst after your plant has 3-5 nodes. I usually top mine after the 5th node if i choose to top. Yes you can top and lst the same plant.

As for your light situation, looks like the sprouts are still pretty small right now so the tubes should be fine. Once they start stretching a little you can add more light and get them closer.

Just remember with growing its all about patience. Dont over love them. Let them do their thing.

The grow is going pretty well, plants look good except for one the leaves are yellow/ brown but I have been doing everything the same for all plants.. Anyways I have run into a dilemma, I have to go out of town this weekend Fri-Sun, and I have noone to water the plants. I have been thinking about setting up a self watering system with a pump and a drip system but im not sure how to go about it. Anyone have some advice?

Hey, sorry I haven't been able to long into the boards lately so I figured id give an update hoping to find some answers. So my lsting skills arent the best but im making it work. 3 of my plants are making me worry; one of them has been yellow/ dead looking from the day it popped out of the soil, the other two have just began to show yellow leaves and a few leaves that are like dark brown/ dead/ dried out looking. The other 7 look perfectly fine tho. Ill be taking pictures of them tom to put up here. Also they will be 1 month tom, they are only about 10 inches tall so I would like to get them a little taller before I sex them and start flowering.

make sure you don't over water them, they should dry out a bit between watering so they get enuff o2. good luck.

Could be the soil. I hear ffof runs really hot for seedlings, depending on the strain. Im no expert, but I seem to read about that alot, on this and other sites, so its just something to think about. Stronger ones might be ok, but the weaker babies might not be able to handle it. Good luck to you.
:smokin: Smoke it if you got it :smokin:
