    First Roof Top Grow

    Hi fellow growers and tokers

Please view the attached pictures of my roof top grow and my make shift green house, made with some plastic from a new mattress and some cavity building blocks.

I have not feed any of the plants yet, they only get direct sunlight from 1.00pm to 8.OOpm due to tress and the angle of the extension of my roof in Southern Ireland.

I would really like to get something to smoke out of these, could anyone offer me any advice on how to progress.

The plants are White Widow and Purple Kush.

    Thanks all

    Welcome!

Looks good for 7 hours of light
    Nice strains as well!
How old are they? any signs of sex yet?
    What soil are they in?

They are startin to take on a lighter green color, and since you havnt fed yet, its definitely time for some nutes.
I use FoxFarm's Trio, which couldnt be an easier line to use. But there are lots out there to chose from..
    -Feed every other watering.
-Let them dry out before watering again. I let mine go a little limp-leaf'd to let me know they need water. Or sticking finger in the soil an inch or so by the side is a good way to tell moisture.

Looks like there's more than one plant in the longer box; Keep one plant per pot next time.
-also a good rule of thumb for soil is 1 Gallon per foot of anticipated growth. 3-5Gallon pots usually yield decent sized plants.

Good job with the green house, has it been used the whole time?
-Also, kinda looks really wet inside, are there holes anywhere?

Hope you get some Fire! Ill help where I can. Good Luck man

    Hi SmokeMyPiece

    Thanks for the advice.

I bought them as femenized seeds, so i hope they are female.

I started them off in a old broken down car, to try and harness some heat from the sun, which has been rare this summer.

I then put them in my garden and was bringing them in a at night, then decided to experiment with the plastic.

I have holes on both sides of the plastic to allow air flow in and moisture out, but you are right its wet in there due to the continued rain fall.

I nearly killed the 5 plants in the box, as i went away two weekend ago and we got a really hot day, when i came back they had wilted and i thought they where dead for sure, but they made a come back after i left them in the fresh air for a few days.

Funds have been tight, but starting a new job on Monday so i will be able to afford to look after them with some proper nutrients. I bought the soil in B&Q and it appears as if they love it.

Might even bring them inside and set up a small grow to flower them. Hopefully the weather will pick up!

    Thanks again man

if funds are still tight you could make some nettle, horse tail and comfrey tea. Atleast make horse tail tea to help prevent mold.
