What type of lights should I use for automatic plants?

Idem as title. I have about 25 auto's coming to me (I'll grow 10 at a time) and I wanted to know if I could get by with 2 105 watt fluorescents, or should I get a hps (400?)? I already have one HPS 400 watts, but I'm using it for my 2 flowering plants right now.

    Thanks!

Im not too familiar with auto's but i can tell you that you will need more light. 400 is good but i dont think its footprint will be enough for 10 plants unless your doing a mini SOG. I run 6 small plants under each of mine but thats pushing it. I think 4 per light would be better. Are the auto's feminized?

Hi pushit, first off, let me say thanks to you. You're always available to help out. Before I post these types of questions, I search for the answers, but come up dry.

Yes, they are all feminized. I bought them from Attitude seed bank on the 31st (according to royal mail, they have arrived to my country and are waiting to clear customs. I live in Argentina).

The reason why I ask is that here, a hps 400 watts kit costs 390 pesos (just under 100 dollars, but it's expensive for us here, due to the exchange rate) and it's cheaper for me to buy 2 105 watt fluorescents @ 120 pesos a piece. I'm kind of jittery over this because I spent 120 euros on seeds, including shipping and the euro here is worth 6.5 times the pesos. Just want to make everything work.

Since I got you here, do you or does anyone know if I can clone autoflowering plants? the strain is haze from dinafem. Also I have roadrunner auto and fruit auto.

    Thanks!

Like I said im not really familiar with autos but i have read that you can't clone them. The cuttings will keep the mothers traits and age . Basically what im trying to get at is an auto flower cannot be revegged. Once its time to flower every part of that plant will flower no matter if it's attached or not. Hope that makes sense. Ive never grown them so if im wrong hopefully someone will correct me. Im just parroting what ive read not from experience.

Its all about lumens. You want 3,000 lumens per sqft in veg / 5,000 lumens per sqft in flower.
-What are the dimensions of your grow area?

No, you cannot clone an Auto.
They have a set number of days that it will veg before automatically going into flower.
It stays on 20/4 light schedule for its whole life.
--keep it under your veg lights and veg nutes until you start to see pistils, then switch to flower lights/nutes.
It has to be planted in its final home from seed.
