Grow Closet Help
I cut my closet in half with cardboard. Cut a big box up into a single panel. I have a shelf about 6ft up, so i made the panel tall enough, and just used the shelf as the top of my box.
they should start putting on noticeable growth now.

First thing, I wish you the best of luck and the most positive of vibes. Having said that you have to be realistic and also prepared for setbacks/failure when so new to it. The LAST thing you want to do is get overly excited. It lends to pushing too hard wanting better/faster results. The herb WANTS to grow so best you let it do just that. YOUR job is environment control. Like dude said RESEARCH, tons of info everywhere. You cant even begin to comprehend how many things can go wrong and beasties tryn to get to your girls. SEAL YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND FILTER ANY &ALL AIR THAT ENTERS. I get that budget is a big issue. Get rid of that fire trap you have and go spend the 100$ on a 150w high pres sodium ready to grow new. You can find even better prices on stronger used equip if you live in a "legal" state. Sounds like you're sticking organic. Get a small bottle of kelp based root enhancer, cpl fans, and some pantyhose(EXCELLENT low cost filtration), as well as addressing your lighting situation. The philosophy I live by in my garden is LESS IS BEST!!! Also, NEVER, as much as you may want to share your success/show off, EVER TELL A N Y O N E or EVER ALLOW ANYONE IN YOUR GROW AREA NOR E V E R LET A FOREIGN PLANT/CLONE IN. The Attitude seed bank is by far the best. They are very reputable and have seeds from almost everyone in stock. I have been VERY plzd with them thru the yrs. Lowryder is an auto-flowering variety so clones are not an option. If you have any questions plz feel free to ask.
Health, happiness, and prosperity to you.

Thanks bro.... I am ALWAYS OPTIMISTIC & Always go full throttle & do indeed realize that this may be a funky crop! Will invest in a well constructed box for my new grow in September. I get the strangest feeling that all of the cooks explaining (in their humble opinion) grow techniques are fundamentally/scientifically correct & open to interpretation/deviation?

Some rules of cultivation are immutable. Failure to abide WILL lead to disaster. Many other things you will adapt, hone, and modify to your needs, environment, and budget. No ONE way is the "right" way. People here just sharing what has worked well for them and ate an invaluable resource. You stay very diligent, dont mess with them too much and stick to the basics i mentioned and you'll do fine. I've been at this for YEARS so i def. know what works, what doesnt, and what is a waste of money.
Again bro, i cant stress to you enough to seal that area off to outside/unfiltered air....
If or when you get pests(EVERYONE does sooner or later) you will see the wisdom in the expense/work. You know not of hell untill you wage war with spider mites....
Be private and dont get ripped of or arrested.
Do not go into partnership with ANYONE, EVER. Two men could share a woman easier than two people can share a garden. Again, these are just my experiences, but i've had.years of them. Best of the best to you...
