First NM marijuana expo !!!

I would like to hear from anyone who attended and what they thought of the expo.

I will be set up offering grow classes and custom made glass for medical use only...

I went and hoped to learn more than I did. I saw several Schiesters setting up booths trying to scam money from marks promising to get them some quick and easy medical marijuana cards. There was a guy who gave a quick Q&A on hyphonic growing vs soil growing etc, etc. It was OK. For the most part I talked to people who bitched about the "man" and the "system" not taking medical marijuana seriously etc, blah blah. When I looked at these dirty and great unwashed people I had no problem understanding why our lawmakers and the medical community dont take any of this seriously, despite the obvious benefits. A shave and haircut never hurt anybody. A lawmaker wont take seriously anybody wearing a t-shirt that says "Pay me Mother Fucker". Nor do they like 1980s Misfits rock and roll t shirts. If this is ever going to be taken seriously, the people involved need to look serious and not like a gaggle of filthy burn-outs. I hate to see this opportunity to be destroyed or stopped because a bunch of slackers wont play the part and prove they are indeed something other than black market pot heads.

Then log in (just like you did here in the forum)

Then go to left sidebar where it says MAIL, click on the Inbox tab.

Thanks Burnt Toast. Do me a favor and ask olliegrow to contact me then. Moderate away. I could care less who has or doesnt have my email address. All the dick pill spam goes to the spam box. If the gubment or the cops wanna find out what, where and how I play on the internet, they will whether or not I want them to. That whole Patriot Act thing. Not to mention Facebook etc. I appreciate and understand your paranoia though. Thanks for the help.

Portzilla I was part of the event staff and would like to post my view on your comments first off the event was open to the public and as such there are all kinds of people in this world. The event was to promote awareness of the program here in N.M. You say "I went and hoped to learn more than I did". I am not sure what you mean by that If you had spent more time listening than watching how others were dressed you might have Learned what you were you were looking for.Then you say "I hate to see this opportunity to be destroyed or stopped because a bunch of slackers wont play the part and prove they are indeed something other than black market pot heads. The people in the program ALL have qualifying conditions.And yes there were a lot of people that were bitching about the "man" and the "system" DO YOU BLAME THEM? I think that the event went over very good for the first year. What I would like to see is an event like this only for people in the program that way more thing can be done to cater to those people.BUT their are not enough people in the program to be able to pull that off maybe in time that will happen.

P.S. it sounds like you are in need of help in growing. A grow class is nice but what you will learn is the basics. If you have never done any gardening there is a BIG learning curve that you will have to master. You will have to learn how to read your plants they will tell you what they want or need. I have heard stories of people wanting to grow and they pull out a couple of 100 watt lamps that they want to use. To be able to grow medical grade it will take a descent amount of money to buy quality equipment.
