I want to write about my experience with my first brew of green dragon.
I bought and 1/8 the other day, I made sure it was buds only but it was only mids. I spoke to a few friends and had them come over when I made the tincture. I had a total of four people, including me try my tincture. One of them had a really high tolerance and only smoked high quality. two were avid smokers but had the average tolerance one in HQ herb. I have barely any tolerance since I smoke at the most three times a month.

Let me go back to where I made the tincture though. I used only 1/16 instead of the whole thing. I had a shit oven but it works to cook with fairly accurately. I first baked the buds in the oven in tinfoil after preheating it to 325. I baked it for 5m and it had been smelling up the room a bit (but not as bad as I heard it doing from others), for about 1m prior to pulling it. It was a army green/brown when I pulled it out. After words I started the waterbath and waited till the 1.5oa of 153 grain alcohol hit 173F. My dumbass friend during all this decided to pick up and stretch the tin foil at that time and spilled 1/4 of the baked weed all over the floor. we recovered most of it. Well we put it in the 153 for 20m, I was left with a brownish green liquid smelling of mostly alcohol with a tinge of there other ingredient. I took 1ml in a half a beer, as did a friend who had a moderate tolerance. the two others had 2ml (i later found out the same clumsy ass from the kitchen put in 4ml instead). I then set my automatic skeleton watch to 0 hour for theatrics.

Subject 1: (me) no tolerance 1ml in 1/2 beer
Subject 2: Mid level tolerance 1ml in 1/2 beer
Subject 3: Mid level tolerance in HQ 2ml in 1 beer
Subject 4: High level tolerance with HQ herb 4ml in 1 beer


0 - hour +15m :Subject 1 and 2 was starting to feel warm all over and a calm high. Subjects 3 and 4 feel nothing
0 - hour +30m: same
0 - hour +45m: Subject 1 and 2 are feeling pretty high, subject 3 feeling a calm high very quiet. Subject 4 feels nothing
0 - hour +1hr: Subject 1 and 2 are VERY HIGH and babbling. subject 3 feels fairly high, subject 4 feels nothing. Subject 3 and 4 go home
0 - hour +1hr 15m: Subject 1 and 2 are still floating, subject 1 feels some nausea and uses the restroom and finds he can't seem to remember how to defecate you may laugh but i was actually fairly scared. I apologize it may seem tmi but I want to be thorough so I know from others if it was legit.
0- hour +1hr 30m: Subject 1 and 2 are still souring. No more stomach issues, but some paranoia. Subject 1 calls subject 4 to see if he's ok result was similar to drunk dialing.

In summary subject 4 never felt anything, Subject 3 was moderately high through the night, Subject 1 and 2 had a spectacular experience for 6hrs.

Questions:
1. Was the pot not baked long enough, should it have stunk up the room if done correctly, could the problems with the shit oven be counteracted by using a microwave?t?
2. Did subject 4's tolerance level at HQ herb effect the outcome significantly enough to cause NO reaction? Could HQ herb Green Dragon work for him?
3. Could I use a distiller instead of waterbath to catch any evaporation to ensure no weed is wasted?

The lesser quality herb could have something to do with #4s lack of response. Your never really sure about these things.

I have de-carbed, re-hydrated, cooked firecrackers, and set weed on fire in 20 seconds with a microwave. Sounds like you doing fine since you got that stoned.

If you can afford it make it with the best weed you can afford, then your questions about the HQ will be answered. Higher quality is always higher quality.

Keep experimenting and report back. What a fun scientific experiment.

Plans for experiment number 2.
Buying a distillation kit (chemistry not alcohol) to better improve tempurature accuracy and to see if the distillation of the the alcohol that is evaporating is carrying any thc.

Questions that if answered could lead to very promising improvements:
1. Is there anyway to tell how much thc is in the final tincture? For instance, if I knew the density (weight per volume) of the utilized alcohol i could compare it to the final density of the finished product to tell how much thc there is. IF i knew the density of THC. Does anyone know the density of THC? All matter has density even liquids.

Thanks a bunch for reply, I spoke with some friends and have reluctantly agreed to make them green dragon in return for their time in my studies and them providing the supplies. (No reason for me to pay money for HQ if I don't need too, and if mids work fine for me).

So I made another batch of almost high quality and gave my friend 2ml, fucking nothing he felt nothing at all, I felt good, it worked for me. What the hell is going on?
Both people have been doing that fake shit, and I'm starting to think that spice has an effect on the tollerance. Has anyone had the same experience.
