    Question on colour of leaves

On one of my plants, the tips of the leaves are turning yellow. I'd say about a millimetre's worth or so. Is this due to lack of N?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Question on colour of leaves

    OK!
    It's not a lack of N.
    Worm castings will supply plenty
Perhaps too much at that tender age?

Worm castings can make the soil hold water too.
The tip browning w/curl, looks like wet feet to me.
Let her get good and dry.
    And not just "surface dry"

Best way to check, is the "lift the pot" method.
Every time you look in on the girls, lift each pot.
When it gets nearly as light as a similar pot filled with dry soil, it's time to water again.

You might as well get serious about your first grow.
I'm willing to bet, it won't be your last.

I was tempted to pull your leg about it.

But, no, no chance at all.

Now, when she flowers, and begins to reek, and/or show some color. . . .
Well your description of her terpene aromas will have to be exceptionally clear, but I'll be happy to take a shot at it then
    .

I would advise you to take some cuttings now and keep them in veg until the donor plants mature.
That way, if one or more is exceptional, you can keep a mother plant of her.

Meanwhile jus' call it bagseed or annie, or plant-bert.
Just so you'll know which cutting is which, yah?

    Having fun yet?

    Aloha,
    'Zard-bert

    Question on colour of leaves

I'm loving it! I'll take your advice on the cloning. I do have a question tho about it. Is it absolutely necessary to use a clear plastic dome when planting the cuttings? I ask because here in Argentina I've never seen anything like that in the gardening shops. Or would cutting a 2.5 litre soda bottle in half be sufficient? I also have included new pics for you to see. One of them is a close up of one of the leaves that has the yellow tip. As soon as I get my paycheck, I'll be building a very nice grow room in my attic. I have 80 square meters to mess around with :rasta::smokin:imp::rastasmoke::stoned:Attachment 277490Attachment 277491Attachment 277492Attachment 277493Attachment 277494

    Question on colour of leaves

Attachment 277496Attachment 277495Attachment 277497 the last one is of part of my attic, where I'm going to be building the cloning and early veg stage area. Where my girls are currently, is where I'll be placing the bigger ladies to continue the growing, then finally, where the roof reaches 3 meters, I'll use that as the flowering area. Whatcha think? I have complete privacy there and no odor problems because it's well ventilated.

I do not use humidity domes for my cuttings.
No need here! Our average RH is about 60%.
I suggest you mail order a couple Calibre III RH meters
You will need them anyway when it's time to cure buds.
I use them because they are cheap, accurate, and most important, they fit inside the curing jars.

If your ambient RH drops below 55% just prop an open plastic baggie over each cutting.
I also do not use cloning powders or gels.
Jus' cut it with a clean blade and pop it into a beer bottle full of tap water.

Best advice at this point, is don't overspend.
Keep it simple, it's a weed.
Does not need supebloomkaboom snake oil to do it's magic.
Clean air, tap water, dirt, light, and love is all you need to grow great weed.
Best to put the money into a decent PH meter, of even the PH test strips,
And you will want to know a few things about your tap water.
    P.P.M., PH, and Ca/Mg levels.

Then, settle in for a long winter's read.

The first link in my signature takes you to the archives.
Everyt'ing ya need to know is there!

    Read until your eyes bleed
and you'll never again have to buy your weed.

    Aloha,
    Weezard
